What are your favorite single player games to go back to often?
It’s kinda rare for me to go back to a single player game and replay it, but there are some games that are nostalgic in the same way place or smell can be nostalgic.
I know them so well that I can’t help but want to go back and visit and I never really get disappointment by the experience. Sure, I don’t get as immersed as the first time, but I definitely still enjoy the games.
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it’s price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don’t meet the system requirements, or just haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

That’s awesome. LotR3 just didn’t do it for me. If you manage to finish it, let me know!
Oh yeah, I really didn’t like it. I think I played for a couple hours and just noped out.
But yeah, I’ll probably post it somewhere on lemmy, and there’s a good chance I’ll make it open source.
I’ll second a request for a remake of this legendary game. Thanks for your efforts, I would love to see this happen! I spent so long playing this as a kid.
Now I kinda feel obligated to work on it. We have a holiday this weekend (Labor Day in the US), so I might just spend some time working on it. :)
Oh damn, you rock!!
