Nightingale is a beautiful new strategy game recently launched on Steam in early access, but it faces mixed reviews and low player counts.

We have enough fucking open world survival games

Seriously? How do we get three “huge” open world survival releases within months of each other? Palworld was arguably the biggest, a decent second being Enshrouded (I’m still not decided on if I like it or not, but too late to refund now cause I played for 10 hours), and now Nightingale, which may flop just because the market is oversaturated right now.

It’s easier to be a copycat and try to ride a trend than actually just make a good game and hope it goes viral.

Yeah, I think they would’ve been better off waiting a little longer. I picked up Enshrouded, which is quite good … this also looks like it could be quite good, but I’m not eager to jump on it so soon after Enshrouded.
