Bought it on Android with rewards funds to share it with wife, so she would stop using the goddamn Duolingo and the stupid game it pushes as an advert. But hey, wouldn’t mind trying it on PC in multiplayer with her I guess

I do some similar stuff, multiple redeems when I remember that Amazon gaming is a thing, but whilst I do get captcha challenges, they are some of the easiest I’ve seen lately. So it is possibly something to do with your specific setup to access their site. No VPN here, and Firefox with Noscript and ublock does not pose any issue, though I obviously have to temp whitelist gog and gog static or whatever are their two domains for the site to even work. I think I have whatever captcha service domain they use permanently whitelisted because some important thing I need to access, related to payments, uses it.

Oh so it’s not that many players are FORCED to play at 1080p because AMDs and Novideos “affordable” garbage can’t cope with anything more to make a game seem smooth, or better yet the game detected we’re running on a calculator here so it took pity on us and set the graphics bar low.

Still love AO, best skill/ability implementation I have seen to date along with character gearing. But yeah they just fucked it up over time.

Quite enjoyed The Secret World beta and even ordered based on my beta experience and that went to shit pretty quick unfortunately. Never bothered with anything from them since, but I will play the Project Rubika from guys who are reverse engineering AO

Edit: I was also hoping they may reignite my love of AO with doing some similar stuff in Dune, but the gameplay I’ve seen so far is really garbage. I’m playing a Chinese survival game which is free to play with (currently) no pay to win monetization, lotsa bugs aaand I’d still rather continue playing that over what I saw from this Dune game

I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t mean that much, if anything OpenRA is ahead of what the original engine was. The only issue is saw with OpenRA’s engine was the odd unit pathing every now and then, so perhaps that could be one thing for them to look at (not that it was consistently great in C&C)

I’ll probably try Project Rubi-ka when they reopen the servers/help them out with some bug hunting, since Anarchy Online, despite its flaws, is still the best MMORPG I’ve played to date… which is kinda sad tbh

Most things in our regular day-to-day lives would leave residue, even water (maybe deionized wouldn’t?) just a matter of how much and how noticeable. About the soap, well if you smell it on your hands after wash, then it’s still there and you will rub it onto stuff. At least it’s just soap tho…

I don’t know if you can reasonably remove all contaminants off your skin, unless you plan to like glove up or destroy the skin by washing waayyyyy too often. But you know, good hygiene will keep things you touch nicer for longer so keep at it.

Tbf unless you’re really anal about it, you’re never going to have perfectly clean hands all the time. But if your controller is getting discoloured quickly and regularly, then you can probably tell where the problem lies regardless of its colour.
I have similar issue with mouse, but it takes about 3-4 years of regular use for it to get really noticeably discoloured or start rubbing off top coat, to a point where even cleaning with IPA doesn’t do anything. And that’s a black mouse.
Also worth noting, many hand creams are a big no-no imho. Some of that shit destroys your gear, worse than any dirt.

Probably if you don’t wash your hands very often…or at all? Just guessing

There’s already some toxic muppets getting banned from matchmaking as well as rage quiters…not a whole lot but I have come across them in the week or so that I’ve played.

There are a few people who do want to coordinate or even use VC, more than the above, but not a whole lot

As lucrative as Valve and Steam may seem to buy, even for 10x that amount, any analyst who is realistic about suggesting the purchase to another company would know that it isn’t worth it. Not that it’s a bad buy, but whoever can afford to buy it likely could not help themselves but fuck it up and run the whole operation to the ground.

Now you’re just being silly, google can’t afford Devs to implement all this nonsense us unreasonable people might want, when they could be looking for ways to make more money off of our data
