Last time I tried it, I wasn’t impressed by what I saw. Besides the ridiculous system requirements, it just felt so weird. They spent all this money on this game and the NPC’s just stood there, on chairs, on tables etc. not doing anything.

Nice tech demo tho.

I really hope that Battlemage will be even better. Would be nice to have another large player in the GPU race.

This will only stop once the DLCs start rolling out in earnest. (Or probably not, it’s PDX)

Its kinda crazy how badly CS2 got messed up.

Ehh, for me it was a play once and never again. The first game was a lot more fun imo

yeah, for me the games after Risen 1 were pretty meh for me. But the Gothic series was part of my childhood, with Gothic 1 being my first ever RPG. (probably one of the best games to start with)

Same. I’m pretty ok with my current setup. Just bought an Rx 6800 last year and that was the last big PC related purchase. Maybe I’ll add a 1TB SSD but that’s about it.

I don’t really understand people who bought this pile of crap. Like I get it that you are hyped, and wanna get into the game, but when I’m hyped for a game, no matter what, I read up about reviews, watch videos, etc before actually buying it.
Just shows how eager people are to throw away their money without knowing any better.

Not surprising considering the whole game is an asset flip. What’s actually more surprising is that people bought a scam game.

Huh? What does the Democratic Party has to do with any of this?

don’t judge until you’ve seen the dynamic cloth physics! that is what everyone wants, right?

says a lot that Starfield even got nominated for Best RPG

So an indie MMORPG with a team of 3 people? Honestly, not really surprised about the news since MMORPGs are notoriously huge money sinks.

Yeah that was a nice little surprise! When I saw the release trailer, I was honestly expecting it to drop late 2024.

Early access comes out on 26 April 2024. I'm excited to see how the game plays, and how much it has changed since the last free-play event was held.

That does seem to be a big hurdle for a lot of games these days. It comes out, the performance is bad so not as many people are able to enjoy it. I just hope that CO quickly fixes any performance issues the game might have.

Sure, but

  • Beer == Germans
  • Germans == Fascists

So I operate on the assumption that German people on Lemmy are Fascists. It’s not true in all cases ofc, but without more info, I think that’s a safe default.

And before you call my flawless reasoning stupid… I don’t really have anything to say.

Very nice. This money will enable them to make it better. One day when I might start learning how to make games I hope that Godot will be one of the best choices out there.

Huh didn’t really follow the game, but it’s nice to see the twink dark souls getting some good reviews.

I’ll probably wait to see what kind of performance people are getting before I make the jump.
