You may have seen reports of leaks of older text messages that had previously been sent to Steam customers. We have examined the leak sample and have determined this was NOT a breach of Steam systems.

We’re still digging into the source of the leak, which is compounded by the fact that any SMS messages are unencrypted in transit, and routed through multiple providers on the way to your phone.

The leak consisted of older text messages that included one-time codes that were only valid for 15-minute time frames and the phone numbers they were sent to. The leaked data did not associate the phone numbers with a Steam account, password information, payment information or other personal data. Old text messages cannot be used to breach the security of your Steam account, and whenever a code is used to change your Steam email or password using SMS, you will receive a confirmation via email and/or Steam secure messages.

You do not need to change your passwords or phone numbers as a result of this event. It is a good reminder to treat any account security messages that you have not explicitly requested as suspicious. We recommend regularly checking your Steam account security at any time at

We also recommend setting up the Steam Mobile Authenticator if you haven’t already, as it gives us the best way to send secure messages about your account and your account’s safety.

Never heard of this game until now and looked at the trailer on Steam. It looks like a modern version of The Sims minus building houses. Everyone liked The Sims so I imagine this selling well too.

With the headline: Interesting, I should read the article.
With the headline corrected: Nothing to see here, move along.

Maybe I should try that. It looks like such a nice series of games but I don’t have time for the grind. I just want to nuke everything and then go to bed.

I am waiting for an AI model and corresponding tools to generate my own anime and manga. No more stupid open endings, no more infinite story they stop producing because who knows, no more “I was in the same room as a girl, OH NO! Someone might have seen me, I’m so embarrassed!”.

I almost wish I could take existing anime, put it in a machine and make it better. That should actually become a thing, use AI to make your favorite TV shower more to your liking. Someone needs to create this. Bad ending? Fix that. Bad dialog? Fix that. Change gender on all characters? Fix that as well. Foul langage? Easy.

The single-player campaign, multiplayer, art, music, and content are not open source.

So cool though.

OP

Stuttering and freezing on single player since 2.19 update on pS5

Happened three times in less than an hour gameplay, before 2.19 I’ve never encountered this? I’m new to GoT and on Act III. Anyone else who’s playing SP notice this or is it just me?

First Post

Quick Fix: play the game in offline mode (turn off WiFi in settings). Stopped the stutters entirely. It’s doing that because it keeps trying to connect to the online servers

Responses confirms that this work.

Not that I know of. Just thought of if because I have seen similar uses before. GitHub has GitHub pages, if you want to create a website.

Let’s say that you are right, one should always look at each company you are buying a service from, before buying said service.

How do you even go about knowing if a company is doing something like this? Where do you start?

At what point have you done your due diligent, and can assume that, yes, I will still have the same contract tomorrow as I had today?

If I buy a service, I care about the service, not how the company is doing financially. In fact, I don’t even take the time to look at their finances because who the fuck does that? Are you looking into Netflix each month?

doesn’t say what it should, namely ‘we fucked up and we’re sorry’.

I don’t think they fucked up in the way you mean (from their point of view). Their mistake was not getting away with the change, their “apology” sounds to me like they are going to reword their new policy but ultimately still have it do somewhat the same thing.

IMO they should never had done this in the first place and should now say “we are sorry, our mistake, it won’t happen again”.

Why do you think Bethesda is so supportive of the mod scene?

Because it creates content for their game without them having to spend money.

Just skimmed the link, and from what I understand the legal document prohibiting use of their marketplace did not exist in 2017 (or I am wrong and it took 5 years for someone to dig it up from Terms of Use).

Unclear because both urls were uploaded to to github under open source license by a Microsoft developer, and then promptly removed. I can’t find it now (could be removed, could be posted in an issue) but VSCodium have instructions on how to change to MS’s marketplace.

Last I read, Microsoft hadn’t replied on whether it was legal or not to use their makeplace, since it was uploaded under open source. Thus again, unclear.

Edit: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/31168 The issue where the license of the marketplace is discussed.

Codium can connect to the MS market, they don’t do it by default because of unclear legalise. Edit: unclear, not clear

Ah, that explains their logo. Always just looked at it and thought it was a bit weird.

Try Floorp, no idea about spyware but it is Firefox with a lot of customization.
