Turn based RPGs. I played through Persona 3, 4, and 5 on an elliptical machine in the past few months, and am now on Metaphor Refantazio. Atlus games seem perfect for this, heh. Not your pre-2005 style, but there’s plenty of old RPGs out there.

I also played through most of the Yakuzas on the elliptical too, although on easy difficulty since they didn’t become turn based until very recently.

Easier to stomp on one individual than to crack down on the businesses importing this stuff. They’re probably also collecting some kind of import duty on them too.

I’ve been deep into Persona 5 Royal for weeks now. I’m now on the home stretch to the final big boss battle, and it has been awesome. I’ve put something like 75 hours into it. I’m going to miss it when I’m done, but I do also have Persona 4 Golden sitting and waiting for its turn. I played Persona 3 ReLoad last year and that was my first Persona experience, and totally got me hooked.

Great post! I appreciate your work.

I looked up the Epic iPhone app, only available for EU users. Huh. Guess that’s due to the Apple cut in other territories.

around the nanosecond it gets released

The Windows ones need the extra horsepower to actually run windows and the games at the same time!

Yeah, and this game is 100% worth the ten bucks they’re asking for. I already own it on Steam (where it cost $20 when I got back at the beginning of the year), and will happily pay another $10 to have it on my phone too.

The amount of times I’ve seen a ‘the best <whatever>’ inorganically shoehorned into articles lately as search engine bait is fucking infuriating.

It’s not an electric vehicle thing… Plenty of other EVs do fine in the snow. Mine even has a snow drive mode and it does pretty great on all season tires.
