With a debit card that’s your money at risk. With a credit card it’s the credit card company’s money.

Credit card companies are required by law to reverse fraudulent charges, but banks aren’t.

Idk, AI is usually very good at translation into English, and most of the translations are garbage.

Noting, but many are basically the same game with different drawings.

How many of those are $0.99 hentai titles with like an hour of gameplay, though.

My work phone battery lasts for like 5-6 days because I only have Slack, MFA app, and outlook on it. It’s crazy to use it for personal use

A bug report is by no means a guarantee that you’ll get personal assistance with the bug.

It’s a report, not a support ticket. It’s purpose is to capture data so the developers can figure out what is causing the issue so it can be patched in the next release.

The devs treating a report like a support ticket is what’s remarkable about the interaction.

It’s always been the case when buying games period.

Someone did just that. They somehow got to bowser with only the parachute and killed him with only 3 stars. It was wild

Fields of Mysteria is looking pretty promising as a stardew replacement

You compete by having your own product, not by using what your competitors developed. It’s on AMD for not making their own product to compete with CUDA

Then it’s on AMD to develop a competing API, and ultimately on them for not being competitive enough to develop an alternative alongside the development of CUDA.

It’s not Nvidia’s fault they developed a better product. And I say this as someone who prefers AMDs products, although I had to get a 3060 for my 3D modeling. I would have loved to go AMD, but I really couldn’t.

Yeah. AI can definitely reduce development costs by handling a lot of the easy busy work for developers.

What? The stock price is based on the valuation of the company, not future dividends. Many stocks don’t pay dividends at all, or do so rarely.

Similarly, a home’s price is the market value of the home, not how much the rent/mortgage payments would be.

Dividends aren’t really the goal for most investors. It’s stock prices they care about.

No. The C rating is a cell’s maximum discharge rate without damaging the cell.

You absolutely can’t charge that 30C battery at 30A

Not surprising at all. I figured that would be the fate of KSP2 once Take Two got ahold of it.

Who the fuck thought a AAA studio had any business releasing an unplayable early access game at retail prices, especially when it’s a sequel to a game with a hardcore cult following?

It was doomed the second they made that decision.

You want me to prove to you that not applying security updates is stupid?

Also, those systems running 95 don’t connect to the internet. Phones do.

Running an un-updated OS is really stupid. Bragging about it is even worse.

Huh? I’ve been using Samsung since the s5 and I’ve literally never had this happen outside of major OS upgrades. And even those don’t really change much.

You can get addicted to literally anything, but that has more to do with your personality than the vice. I knew a guy who was addicted to advil. Didn’t have chronic pain or anything, but couldn’t stop taking it.

It’s not a gaming addition that’s the problem, it’s that many of these games basically follow the same playbook that casinos do. They’re gambling disguised as a video game.

Usually the DIDs they use are from blocks where the first 3 numbers after the area code are different than the blocks that are handed out by telecoms to landlines and cellphones. You might be able to filter by those numbers as well.

But it has a legal use case that only the small percentage of users use it for, so it has to be legal to profit off of it!

This was always going to be the outcome once they monitized it. The reason dolphin is left alone is because it’s FOSS.

Just because it wasn’t being actively discussed doesn’t mean that piracy wasn’t an intended use of the software.

It’s like the argument of, “this bong on my car’s floorboard is definitely for tobacco, officer.”

Yeah, bongs can be used for tobacco, but that’s definitely not their main use case. Same with emulators.

Drift is an unavoidable outcome from using potentiometers. The only way to actually fix it is to replace the joysticks, preferably with hall sensors.

Or replace your potentiometers with hall effect sensors. At least on the Switch it was a 15m fix.

A restaurant with waitresses in skimpy clothing influenced TLoZ? I must have missed an important part of the game.
