Alright, I’ll pay up to $50 for a DLC pack that includes a new continent, at least as much story and content as the current game, at least 2-4 new character classes, and several new game play concepts. If you want me to pay the price for a new game, I need the equivalent of a new game out of it. As for $100, no. Ain’t happening.
I’ve been playing “will I be able to get Genshin Impact running in Linux in a way that is comfortable for me?”
(AAGL runs it, but I’ve only managed to get it full-screen or 1920x1080 in a borderless window pinned in the center of my screen. I’d like to drag that 1920x1080 window down close to the lower-right corner, but can’t figure out how to move it or get it running with normal draggablr window borders). Arch+xorg+kde+nvidia. Couldn’t get it to install either Lutris and haven’t tried other launchers.
I savescummed nethack as a kid, telling myself I was learning how to play. Then one day I decided to play on an online server where that wasn’t a possibility. There is nothing like the feeling of achieving a goal the legit way. I learned soooo much more during those many perma-death runs than I ever did by save-scumming, and I’m actually proud of those ascensions.
