I can’t see how this is worth it for anyone. Are there even games that are pushing the current PS5?

No disc drive either.

By the time the game is released, we will actually be Star Citizens travelling through space.

It makes sense to me. PC is just so much more versatile and can do so many more things than a console. Also, while the initial costs can be higher, you can play your games without fear of compatibility issues or online fees, etc. I can play games from 10-15 years ago without issues (generally).

Just play on whichever device you have that can handle it.

Switched to PC Gaming around the PS3 era and never looked back.

It’s really nice to see the Sony titles coming to Steam these days as well.

Wish Street Fighter 6 made the list. I know fighting games aren’t in style but SF6 was such a great entry into the fight game genre.

Just finished P5R a few weeks ago. Loved it!

What’s to stop them from changing the cap at a later date?

And this is why I have trust issues

Man I was just getting into game development and learning Unity.

I guess it’s time to pivot into Unreal or Godot or something.

Anybody have recommendations?

It’s cool to see the numbers and warms my heart to know that everyone is enjoying games.

Wow, feels like a really big moment.

RIP UK gamers

Lmao. I refuse to go back.

Yeah, I like this idea a lot. Just like programming.dev having a bunch of programming related communities.

Also, it’s a bit nice (imo) to not have EVERY community on Lemmy.world.

In any case, I will just follow both.

I’m a sync guy but this news has me so excited. I will try Boost for Lemmy when it comes out and likely support it anyways.

Really into Street Fighter 6 right now.

Also working on Persona 5 Royal. Having a blast.
