I’m typing this from a Nothing Phone 2 I got about a year and a half go and I love it. Still gets monthly updates, stills runs fast and is updated to A15. Battery is starting to slip but as long as I’m around 40-50% charge before a trio or going out that’s more than enough. Really like the nothingOS customizability, reminds me of the OG oneplus phones but not what they are currently.

Asus would be nice, I’ve liked most of the zenphones but either didn’t support my carrier/bands or something like that or they stopped allowing bootloader unlocking which is why I didn’t think they’d be on the list but this would be a great way to jump back in as an option for enthusiasts.

Also would love for it to be RAZR, I really want one but also want GrapheneOS but hesitant to buy a pixel.

They’ll tease some cool trailers, maybe a release date but mainly a preorder to get peoples money and THEN probably never release it.

The video in the post mentions that Blomberg has their own coverage of Nvidia GPUs and the black market which obviously isn’t as detailed and probably gets information wrong and they certainly want to silence this true reporting of the facts.

It’s probably because I’m using an NVIDIA card but I switched an SSD to arch Linux because that’s the only thing I could get to actually run a game and not a black or grey screen. Once I finally got steam and heroic launching games I will say only about 60% of the games I’ve tried work but that’s because I’m trying to keep up with some newer games and play Jedi Survivor, The Last of Us part 1 and the Mass effect Legendary Edition and half the time it won’t boot or has HDR issues or something. But all my indie or smaller games that are verified I’m surely installing and only playing them there.

Still running and loving my nothing phone 2 but not going to upgrade to this. they missed the feature set and price point I was looking for. Probably going to go pixel and GrapheneOS next

Seriously, I just bought another thinkpad from 2022 for $500 and that thing is amazing. though it wouldn’t be great for gaming I have plenty of other options for that.

Same I got a 3080 12G a few months after release for $1k from EVGA and it’s the most I’ve ever spent on a computer part. Next upgrade is def gonna be in the 600-700 range, not making that mistake again.

Is this only an AA wireless issue? I thought AA just won’t start with a VPN running on the system at all. I use wireless and have a couple VPN profiles and it always shows this any time I leave it on, I think it’s AA system functionality to prevent spoofing location or GPS or whatever.

It depends heavily on the drive the data always shows. I have a 12TB Exos drive that I got almost 2 years ago with no issues. that specific drive has a 1.3% failure rate for 2024, more along the lines of WD so gotta use the data to your advantage

Love me some borderlands, hopefully enemies and missions are interesting like borderlands 2. Vault Hunters don’t look that cool compared to other characters in the trailer. Hopefully they keep what works and don’t do some stupid stuff like not release on steam or add denuvo or whatever else.

I understand all that, my comment was addressing it being mentioned that itch did nothing wrong which wasn’t true. The site themselves may not have purposefully knew of that content but it was there.

On threads a few days ago there were images of indie games posted to itch which mentioned playing with using Funko characters so there was infringing content on itch but the domain takedown was way too heavy handed.

I have both sets of the coasters on the GN store, the rubber ones and they’re the best coasters I’ve had since they’re flexible and washable, highly recommend them

Funny I just bought a 2021 Lenovo X1 Carbon to replace my Thinkpad from 2016, both running Linux immediately.

Just my two cents I could only get my Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3080 to run games reliability on EndeavourOS. Tried PopOS, Kubuntu and Fedora KDE spin and all those had issues after a while or failed to run games out of the box and following wikis/guides

I use Antergos myself but second this easier install method!

Happened a lot for my win11 laptop my company refreshed for me. 16GB dell laptop and WSL running plus zoom, firefox and obsidian and it kept getting blue screens for running out of memory.

Same I played for like 12 hours on a gamepass sub a while ago and it just felt like a giant slog. Thought it would be cool to visit the market place thing and get some ship or clothing upgrades and after visiting like 4 planets and running around each for several hours I was like 8% of the way to a ship upgrade I didn’t boot it up again. I was probably missing portions or missions or milestones or something but wasn’t immediately obvious to me

True they have been assigned an equivalent to a group of death. Usually you can still expect them to be in the knockouts most years.
