Such good news. I hope someone can answer this either theoretically or practically as I’m not as knowledgeable in this.

One of the things I love about the steam deck is the ability to just turn it off and back on a few days later and the game is exactly where I left off. If steamOS is on a PC or another handheld deck. Would it still be possible to still have this feature? I guess my question is whether this is a software or hardware feature.

It does goes to show hardware isn’t everything. In fact it’s a pretty small factor for most if the games are fun.

I’ll def play it but not hyped for it. Hopefully they have a good amount of single player story. Rockstar has a way of writing story and character that’s so special. Hope that hasn’t changed

Still doesn’t feel like Nintendo to make a direct successor to a console. But it wouldn’t be Nintendo if they don’t add some cool idea to it instead of a straight forward spec bump.

Who wants to use any product or service this desperate to try and keep you.

Same day launch as Spider-Man 2. This year is just littered with amazing games. Excited to try this one as I never could get into 3d Mario games.

That’s what I thought too. If I was getting one now id be inclined to get the digital plus add on drive so the drive is more replaceable.

I was trying to wait for the slim but got an og a few months ago during a really good sale. I’m not too bummed about it as I thought it’d be slimmer.

It looks awesome and glad this market is getting more competition. But if it runs windows it’s an automatic out for me. Steam deck is just a great balance of power and efficiency while supporting Linux gaming.

While I personally wouldn’t repair my own iPhone. If I need it done I would want to go to an Apple Store anyway. This makes selling on your phone for other people to fix and use and sell on and use again virtually impossible, which would’ve been more sustainable than just binning the phone.

It’s especially shitty since they also announced net zero plans. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

I ended up with a net positive with this game. There’s elements of the story, characters, gameplay and world I love. But certain aspects had execution and pacing problems. Someone mentioned if the story was a novel this would be an amazing read and I absolutely feel it

All the ingredients are there. It was limited by the execution of the game. I personally feel it would’ve been better as an old school pixel rpg.

That all being said. Loved the talent performance, emotional journey, ending etc.

MS screwing us with software. Apple screwing us with hardware upgrades. Linux out there taking all survivors

When you say steam deck do you mean switch version emulation?

hides behind tree Hi runs awaydry humps you

Easy.

Yea I hate the way Apple is treating customers with upgrades but they make a damn good product that is unbeatable compared directly. I hope hackintosh lives on. I hope there’s better efficiency to power ratio on PCs. I’m hoping my current Mac could be my last Mac.

Makes sense on an operational level to go Linux. Feels like most of ITs job in large organisations is to lock the OS down as much as possible. Ending in an even worse windows experience then it already is

I was just thinking they might go this way to prove that karma is worth something. The quality of content will absolutely take a dive if they ever do.

The Yugioh Master Duel game you can at least dismantle or generate the cards you want or don’t want. So it’s like trading with a GameStop. So not the same but it’s something.
