I am really enjoying it so far. I’m almost finished with the second map.

So many people seem to hate it for reasons I don’t quite understand. I also really liked Outer Worlds, though.

I’m enjoying the story, the characters, the inventory system - everything everyone else seems to hate. I really don’t understand why other people say the world feels dead. I guess I enjoy not having to run around to find NPCs who are always on the move? (Looking at you, Skyrim.)

Sure, most weapons in the game are exactly the same. But that makes the “unique” ones so much more interesting. I like that I can upgrade those unique weapons, so that they always stay useful. No more quest rewards that are already underleveled when I receive them! (Looking at you, Skyrim.)

I saw someone in this thread say they missed the “stolen item” mechanic. I’ll tell you what I don’t miss: becoming a wanted man because I took some food off a table in a common area or accidentally clicked and took one of the thousands of items lying around that are lootable.

I’m enjoying the Balder’s Gate 3 camping system, but I’m glad you don’t need to “spend” food for every night in camp.

My only “problem” is that it feels a little unoptimized. I get low frame rates sometimes that don’t go away even at the lowest settings, especially inside cities. But, it’s relatively minor. I can (and do) live with it.

It feels like a full game with no glitches on release, which is nice.

Although, if your glass textures all look frosted and weird, then turn “global Illumination” up to at least medium.

Anybody know why he puts a comedic number of oversized hair clips in his hair? I figure it must be some sort of running gag.

Turning zombie virus transmission off and experience gain rate up made it more fun for me, solo. But I do still occasionally play with others and that is fun.

I guess disabling full screen notifications for the phone app does work, but I kinda liked the full screen notifications when I’m driving.

I suppose I could try that. I was hoping for an easier solution.

The phone is really great other than this one annoying “feature,” especially for the price.

Hello all! My new phone (Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 running Android 14) keeps giving me this alert that an app is giving full screen notifications. The app in question is the freaking telephone app, which I of course want full screen notifications from! There's no option to disable the alert. (The two choices are "go to options" and "not now," by the way. And "go to options" takes you to the telephone app's notification settings.) I cannot seem to find a setting related to this, and I've disabled every Motorola app (including system apps) that I can find in the app list. Although, some of them don't allow disabling. Anybody familiar with this by chance? I'm getting this stupid alert for every other phone call. Thank you!

I remember these days. I used to sing “the first boot is the longest” to the tune of “the first cut is the deepest” when booting a phone after installing a new OS. Have you tried just letting it run for a while? Although, if it takes longer than 30 minutes, then it’s probably hopeless. Would suggest reinstalling factory ROM or trying a custom one in that case.

Other players in FO76 are actually very nice. If your low level, high level people will just go up to you and give you things. PVP is optional and I never turned it on. You’re incentivised to join teams with many perks. You can just follow a team mate around and help them, and I’ve done that many times. Teams are temporary and small (max 4 players) so people are very open to you joining a team.

I thought it said “understandable,” and I was like, “yeah.”

I liked the Darkchylde form. Still not my kinda game. I might play for a second if they add Phoenix just because.

It’s actually pretty good. there’s a little jank but a lot of heart. I was surprised to see that Every pal had battle, working, eating, and petting animations.

Does the VPN have a persistent notification? If you disabled it that could be a problem. My VPN has a notification that is always on. Annoying for someone who always clears notifications, but I’ve gotten used to an it.

It’s a pity that other languages weren’t voice acted. I understand it would probably be prohibitively expensive with a game like this.

There are some “The Sims” games on these consoles. You can pause time so controls shouldn’t be an issue.

If you can do PS2, then you can likely do GameCube. I’ve beaten “X-Men Legends” on my phone through Dolphin, the GameCube emulator. Technically an action game, but the controls are pretty simple. “Marvel Ultimate Alliance” is a game in the same engine with the same gameplay, more or less. It’s on PSP as well as GameCube, I believe. Has Avengers characters and Spider-Man, so a bit broader appeal than X-Men.

There is a story. I can’t comment on how good it is, because I didn’t realize enjoy the game and only played a few hours.
