imho, that’s how you find the some of the best games games.

Find the ones that people pirate, then enjoy so much that they go out of their way to get an official copy.

The Hello Neighbor series is not worth your time on any level. Trust me.

Pathologic 2, on the other hand, is very much a fascinating game, and Ice Pick Lodge is actively working on its next route.

Part of me wonders if the reverse holds - if spoofing one’s user-agent on Chrome to look like Firefox could cause the delay to occur.

Eh, I’d say that there are entities in the Gaming industry that definitely deserve it.

Let this set a precedent so we can topple the rest.

It’s because they’re addicted to their walled gardens. Everything within Apple’s ecosystem must be tightly overseen and controlled, with little exception.

Well, they still need to keep the lights on, and I can’t imagine they can crank out paid cosmetics from now until eternity.

I imagine this is something they want to create without contending with the constraints of Deep Rock Galactic as it currently stands, since this pushes more in a rogue-like direction instead of the class-based shooter that is vanilla DRG.

It’s understandable, but I also hope it’s priced fairly as well.

They did say S5 would be a tie-in to Rogue Core, so maybe it’ll be an excuse to introduce this new material, along with a new biome?

If only they just focused on Unreal Engine, because Unreal does go hard.

I did hear about one company slowly buying up stocks in Nintendo… whether that goes anywhere or not remains to be seen.

…maybe vehicle combat could be a thing?

IDK. To be honest, the Battlefield series is foreign to me.

For me, I think it’s the fact that Doom Eternal is moreso the thinking man’s Doom game, but I personally don’t play Doom to think.

I play Doom so I can bust into a room, shove my shotgun against an Imp’s face, say “does this smell like gunpowder to you?”, and blow their brains across five states.

Viable, yes, but I don’t think Godot currently matches up to Unity in terms of capability. I do think this will very much get an impetus going for people & studios to invest into Godot’s development, though.

Yeah, but I’d still argue that it’s a lot better than nothing, and we have Valve to thank for making a lot of Windows games actually playable on Linux.
