I saw a stat on Civ VI steam page today that 45 000 people were playing it at that moment. That counts for something!

Mod support? Between this and Skyblivion, the one with better mod support wins.

Author faces regularly many issues when trying do make a new version of Termux to yet another set of googles demands or restrictions, sometimes unable to update play store version for years. As an (just) example, see this issue: https://github.com/termux/termux-packages/wiki/Termux-and-Android-10

Yes, except google is slowly killing Termux with a thousand cuts, while they will kill this only after a few years.

Everything you want, except sudo! That’s freaking dangerous for you!

Why would obtainium be needed instead of installing the apk directly?

As a reader, that’s definitely why I do condemn overly negative books and other media. Even after reading all horror books available in the library as a teenager. Life’s complicated enough by itself.

EA lost $6 billion in market value

And yet, nothing of value was lost. What a paradox!

Against the Storm!

It comes with pause, so almost turn-based ;) (I’m kidding).

Ah, so “sheets (by google)” are different than “google sheets”. Right.

Well they don’t need them to coexist, they need just one of them to succeed.

IMO KotOR was an inspiration for Mass Effect - it may be worth a look.

The “play games” can. Three filters I always use in combination: “Premium” (i.e. paid), “no ads”, “no in-app purchases”. In the current version of the app you have to scroll quite down to find these.

Actually the official google “play games” app has a nice feature that should be included in play store: it can filter for games without purchases.

Other than that, the mentioned minireview app has good filters.

None! But some of them - like Megaloot or Waxheads - have free demos on Steam.

Same. Losing felt quite arbitrary and random to me.

You can’t expect people to understand the acronym of a game you are just introducing :) Google tells me you mean “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.

Is Rimworld chill though? It’s been sitting on my waitlist for a while, but I’m still a bit…afraid. Doesn’t each colony ultimately go to shit?

Well it is a different genre thand SHMUP. But Gunlocked can be considered shmup I brlieve.

You’re not alone, seems like the game has its moment now :)

I’m of the impression this is the same dynamics as seen in other competitive appealing activities where almost anybody can join and dream of becoming famous and rich, like starting a band or a YouTube channel, playing sports and - according to Freakonomics - drug dealing. The profit distribution is extremely skewed towards the top, leaving most of the participants with wages well below average.

There’s a horror movie about a couple harrased by kids during the stay at the lake. Might be right up your alley!

Aaa, the one temporarily featuring Hitler toaster ;)

This. The stuff OP hates in the games is added as the “endgame content” for people planning on spending half their lifetime in the game. That kind of “content” is generally not added to single-player-first games like those you mentioned.
