From the same website:

Pondsmith revealed that he’s not as involved with the second game as he was with 2077, but said he’s keeping track of its progress. The game designer went on to claim that the sequel will feature Night City, as well as a second, unspecified location.

So it’ll have a new city as well as Night City. Which is good - Night City has more stories to tell. All the TTRPGs were based in NC, as was Edgerunners. Leaving it behind completely would be wrong.

Yeah I was wondering the same when K saw a similar post earlier… Can’t find anything about his current views or beliefs.

I am not aware of any that use the same 3D scanning Apple does, personally. Though to be fair, it is not a feature I actively look out for either.

No, Android devices don’t have faceid

Lmao what. The only reason the Xbox wouldn’t be successful is, well, Xbox. MS aren’t doing a great job with their consoles, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be possible for competition to exist.

I’d be very disappointed if they don’t. But I have faith that they will stay close to the source and remain in Night City for at least the main storyline.

Honestly I kind of hope there will be DLCs with completely different characters and smaller stories to play, though I kinda doubt that’ll happen. Would be interesting though.

The guy you’re replying to was joking, saying they are in charge of your notifications.

Lemmy notifications depend on the client you’re using. I’m using Sync which is far from perfect with push notifs, usually they only pop up when I open the app.

I feel like a daily thread is fine, but then others should post in the comments. Multiple threads with basically the same content feels redundant.

It could be, but I imagine the reported capabilities would be limited by the connected devices. So if your phone doesn’t support USB SuperSpeed 80gbit/s, it wouldn’t be detected by the app.

You definitely can. The UI from Steam OS (Linux based) is much better though.

That’s pretty likely. I imagine his shenanigans take quite some time haha

Pretty soon, he posted a screenshot on twitter recently.

Did you miss the announcement? They released a trailer, which revealed the year it’s releasing. 2025. It was even leaked a few hours beforehand, which was quite a big deal in itself.

If you’re launching on Steam you’re paying the 30% anyways.

If you publish elsewhere there’s a lot you have to build yourself, but it would allow more freedom in the way you implement it. It might also be cheaper, but that depends on the way you do things.
