Homm3 was something I played the demo of as a kid then in later life I rediscovered it and binge it once and a while. I bought heroes 4 and 5, maybe even 6 and they just don’t feel the same. There’s tons of threads on which is best and I have yet to see homm3 come in anything but 1st lol.
I’m just running the gog version at the moment, decided I’d go through the regular campaign so I can play the official addon campaigns I had no idea about until a year ago. I have all of those as well.
Used vcmi to play it on my phone once. Does it do anything better than the gog config on PC?
Ya because so far it doesn’t seem to impact the consumer so it works for me lol. Valve has always had great sales too. If they jacked up prices YoY, and did evil things, then I’d welcome competition. But all I see at this point is lousy extra software to install a single game or two. Annoying. Fragmented. Just just media streaming.
Controversial. I’ve owned many of the Nexus line and I own the pixel 6 pro. I also rocked an s7 for a while. Samsung definitely does a great job with their UI but I also would like to point out that these issues with pixel are not as common as news points them out to be. I know several people with pixel phones that experienced none of these issues.
My advice is to just prioritize what you want out of your phone. The fact I will always get android updates first and probably the longest os support compared to Samsung and the ease in which I can flash custom ROMs of I wanted to is why I stick with pixel. Samsung definitely had extras I wish Google would bake into stock android though.
Well, I’m sure it’s good enough by the time they slap their own drivers in there. It’s just streaming. I’d imagine literal wifi being the bigger culprit of any slowness. And android is already there so it’s easier to build off that than make your own thing, especially when it’s doomed to fail anyway 😂
This gets a huge meh from me. It’s a wannabe switch/steam deck that’s basically good enough in most cases for someone that will likely be in front of their ps5 to use it effectively anyway, given that most homes don’t have adequate wifi coverage for high throughput. And relying on home internet upload speeds it a whole other caveat. Still relies on a cloud service, so once Sony decides to shut that down then it’s 100% e-waste.
No thanks.
I still play quake and doom and hexen and heretic and a whole bunch of others. Gog.com is my favourite place to buy games if I can get them there.
I also dabbled in 3d modelling back then in 3d studio max or something. I used to love it, now I just don’t have the time 🤣.
I dunno, I just remember reviewers discussing it. I don’t have facebook. But looks like they did in fact ditch the facebook account requirement… in favor of meta accounts https://www.tomsguide.com/news/meta-just-removed-facebook-login-requirement-for-quest-headsets-what-you-need-to-know
No thanks.
Having something tangible can have perks. Steam bans you. Thousands lost. Online service shuts down. Games lost. I can still fire up this here super Nintendo… And nobody can tell me when it’s going to shut down and stop working.
One of the reasons I prefer to buy on gog. I can just save all my purchases to an external hard drive
Don’t know anything about this. I tried to play the first one recently and it was ok. I don’t think it aged well. I really wanted to play it when it came out but it murdered my PC. I’m sure I would have enjoyed it more back then.
Is this a continuation?
