Pixels have a tendency to have different features depending on the phone you use. Even when it’s the exact same model and firmware you can find some missing features.
Yeah the reason Androids feel ‘choppy’ compared to iOS is that android lets you take action without finishing the animation, whereas iOS forces you to watch every animation until you can touch the phone again. This is a general trend with iOS, you do as the OS tells you to.
iOS already has a built in accessibility option for preventing nausea in a moving vehicle, I think Google is also planning a similar feature in the upcoming Android versions. Until then, KineStop does the job.
It’s firmware, hence why the word ROM stuck. Once you flash the firmware to specific partitions, after the boot you can no longer modify it, unless you have root too. Technically nothing is ROM, there is always a way :).
Depends on how you look at it. CS is the only thing I’ve been playing after years of gaming and I think it will stay that way due to the simplicity and the familiarity of the game.
I would just go for a PS5 controller. You get type c charging, great haptics and good compatibility (either via Steam or ds4windows). Only issue is the stick drift
The display is going to be the biggest battery hog, always. So keep the dark mode on if you have an OLED screen. Additionally, battery drains really fast when the phone is searching for a cell signal/low signal. So consider turning on VoWifi if it is possible.
Shitty processor, lacking features, upsold AI subscriptions, server side photo and videography (AI boost my ass) and a high price for almost always shitty hardware. Get a Samsung or even an iPhone, Pixels are just not worth it.
Why Chromium based browsers? I understand using Chrome might help Google, but how does using other browsers based on Chromium help them? By increasing market share?
Exclusives, simplicity, ease of use. I had a gaming PC, but switched to the PS5 only because I realized I’ve been using my PC like a PS5. I only play like fifa and gta now since most new games don’t even excite me anymore.
