With AMD it seemed like every driver update broke something or caused random crashes.

In my entire life was the opposite, on release, AMD drivers are dog water, once they get it stable, you could use your VC for your entire life using the latest driver. On windows I had to force the the usage of an earlier driver cause new drivers always reduces the performance of my gtx750ti. Also had a friend with similar issues on a 1060. First time I heard it about AMD, but I know that some ppl got unlucky

I played enough to see an empty city that adds literally nothing to anything, with every single NPC standing still on a chair. I played enough to crash two times interacting with shit to just restart ON MY FUCKING ROOM, why there is a server if it is unable to keep your quest state is beyond my intelligence.

Furthermore, I played enough to see corpses around the abandoned world, adding nothing but noise to my immersion, dumber quests, simpler ship controllers and simpler planetary bases than Elite Dangerous. Also, maybe I didn’t have played enough, but I had no SC player providing me with a decent endgame gameplay loop like ED, I don’t know how a game this old and this expensive can have less endgame than an actual indie game.

Literally the one thing that it is better in SC than ED is the ability to move inside your ship, that is dope but is not worth the cheapest ship or worse, your time. And I’m writing this comments to other ppl, not you Tigris, you are beyond any rational discussion, you probably have spent too much on this game to admit to yourself it is crap. I did not know about this game but this clip turned me off, the boss seems a bit uninspired, the boss is a paladin but he cast some purple things far away but the cast has no voice or good animation.
Also, these 2 classes seem a little bit generic too, the OP just spam dash the entire fight.

Yup, I agree, you know, I even think that we cannot even compare the two kind of games cause they are so different. One is much more a story teller, the other is a RPG. There is nothing wrong in preferring one over another but they are too different imo.

Well, for me here is just a question of creativity and how much you want to put in your character. Personally, I can´t play a lot of these games with established characters cause they aren’t me, they are they and anything I do will not change the fact that he is Gerald with his history, motivations, and willingness, so why do I play exactly? Just to see what will happen cause in the end he will still be Gerald, not me, not my character.
