Yeah I keep thinking this too, it’s a buy once game, they still have the money they made. They’re trying to push more content as quick as possible to get more waves of players, new and old. I’m positive their accountants know the player base isn’t rebuying the game.


Oh man, If I was inclined to dox myself online I’d have a guy for you. A local construction company here has a green energy side company and they do both public and private installations of wind and solar, from large owners of open land, to farmers, to even residential. Hopefully theres something near you like that.

I think it’s ingorantly optimistic to think meta hasn’t spent more money than you make in a lifetime on strategy alone to marginalize the rest of the fedi-verse in an attempt to increase profit and destroy competitors. If you think Mastodon can figh that on donations bless your heart.


As if the internet isn’t full of regurgitated lies already, can’t wait for the AI to reinforce them into itself.


Theres no situation in which I can envision AI scraping the open internet to be a good way to train them. Stop doing things cheaply and curate it yourself or you’re gonna get what you paid for, which in this case is mostly free trash content.



The amount of content I’m seeing over here these days lets me know that despite whatever the numbers tell you reddit lost sizeable amounts of community members and content producers. What these statistics hide is the massive dent in reddits free labor pool of mods that are likely done with the platform.
