As soon as I beat Far Cry 3 I started looking into the first 2 games and got nothing but warnings to stay away. Stories of malaria and glitched doors. Maybe it is time to check it out.

IMO the worst part is the ads that auto-scroll you to the top of the page after you’ve spent two minutes reading

I mean I’m at the point where I just met the starborn, and speculating with my partner on who they are has been a lot of fun. I was really looking forward to finding out. It is kind of a bummer to just have someone drop it in a random comment in a thread about the romance plots.

Bro thats a pretty big main quest spoiler to drop unmarked

The image overwrites the url on lemmy so here is a link oncomputer.games

Always happy to see the pom poko boys! Blog looks neat and I subscribed to the youtube channel.

I’m enjoying the game and having fun but I also have a long list of complaints. #1 for me right now is not having the right dialogue options. First bethesda rpg where a character can ask me if something is a good idea and there is no option to tell them no!

Is this article written by AI? It has all sorts of strange errors and repeated words. Like the sentence at the end of this paragraph. I know it is popular to call out everything as AI right now but this article is suspicous.

Thabks for sharing this! NES is my favorite console and these games look awesome. Not sure if I am more excited for the bird one or the wizard one.

Right? I remember reading the blog posts a decade ago. Looking forward to actually playing it.

I’ve played both and love both, but I would say normal on those games is much easier than normal on Sam. Not sure how the higher difficulties match up.

Siberian Mayhem becuase it got put on game pass, but I know there are a bunch of others.

And yeah I’ve had like 6 huge ones break through a wall and give me a heart attack. I’ve definitely learned the value if running.

Serious Sam
I recently started my first Serious Sam game and I am super excited! I've been craving a bulletstormy mindless shooter, and I thought that that was what Serious Sam goes for. So I started it up last night and went with normal. Almost immediately I found myself having to conserve ammo, aim carefully, and watch my health. I died after the first group of enemies. I reloaded, moved more carefully, and made a decent dent in the level before dieing several more times. I started googling and found out I was entirely wrong about Sam, its a game meant to challenge and force you to think about enemy spawns and weapon choice. It is not at all the game I was expecting but it is a ton of fun and I reccomend it to anyone looking for a fun challenging shooter!
