from my understanding bazzite is very similar to steamOS which people can use without knowing that it is even linux (steam big picture mode my beloved). Mighr not be such a hard sell if the default software hurts usability

frame gen? for sure, you are right. upscaling? Upscaling is an amazing way to improve your framerate dlss is often indistinguishable from native except for the framerate. And even fsr 1 which is the worst method for upscaling that doesn’t get any help from AI or motion vectors but that’s compatible with every single game works often great for me upscaling from 1080p to 1440p

I absolutely agree. Even with skyrim, I could mod every aspect of the game, I could make combat and the graphics good add lots of new mechanics and quests. But I still couldn’t make it good. The story, the copypasted dungeons and lifeless NPCs the game is rotten to the core and even if I can fix some of it I can’t just replace the core that would be a different game like Enderal.
