The amount of games on the PC is way to large to be buying right away.
This pricing is why Nintendo doesn’t want emulation of its games, while other companies don’t give a shit because they either figured out how to port their shit over to PC or did a multiplatform release to begin with. Steam was the largest reason piracy for games has literally shrunk and why so many from the scene stopped. Make it cheap and easy to get the game, no need for people to pirate it. Nintendo did the exact opposite and has tried and tried to keep it on a closed platform…yet it’s one of the most emulated company out there.
Yes, because prohibition worked soooo great.
As much as I hate it, parents need to… actually fucking parent. It’s so damn bad these days parents expect schools to raise their kids.
The gov isn’t there to raise your kids and it’s not supposed to be there to hold your damn hand because you make shit choices.
Gambling issue? Get help…no one says let’s ban gambling.
Alcoholic? Get help. Prohibition didn’t work. We can see how well that’s working for the war on drugs.
Take some personal responsibility. Not everything that’s a vice needs to be banned or regulated into the ground because some people lack willpower.
9700x here as well, for the price I got it at $220 it’s a steal. I’m just baffled people are still buying the 7800x3d at $350-400 used/new. Pretty sure I might get 2-4 frames more with my setup (7900xtx) but that’s not worth it to me for the extra cash spent. More power to AMD for knocking it out of the park though.
Did I say anything about competitive play? No… infact my group hates mmos because it’s not a chill environment. We want something our old asses can pick up and play randomly between life and have something fun and challenging. I really don’t get where I’m bashing the game, we all bought it when it came out and was billed as a coop space sim. The game is fantastic and hello games really has turned it around completely, but our wishlist includes challenging pve.
Minecraft has no real PvE. It’s literally not billed as a pve game, pve on Minecraft is a side thought. My example with factions is just that an example, it’s not to say that the game lacks pve because it doesn’t have them. I don’t care how hello would implement more pve but I just want more of a challenge. NMS has no real challenge because it lacks real pve.
It has no real pve. It’s got a few things that might attack you on a planet or the pirates in space. But there is no real danger in the game. There aren’t factions on planets trying to kill you or systems controlled by groups that require a lot of work to clear out. Planets feel lifeless and space feels like a walk in the park… add in 2 friends or more and it’s a joke.
You know who’s the biggest polluters? Companies and governments… mainly the militaries. I’m not defending anyone, I’m telling you that you’re worried about the dumbest shit ever to think that some mega yachts are the problem. Container ships and cruise liners make all those yachts look like green floating sailboats in comparison. You know who uses those cruise ships and the shit on those contrainer ships the most? Normal every day people.
It’s OK to run a discount for Steam Keys on different stores at different times as long as you plan to give a comparable offer to Steam customers within a reasonable amount of time.
Where in valves policy is it showing they’re affected. That right there is from the link you provided, literally stating its fine to have discounts on different stores. Steam provides the keys for free and still eats the cost of hosting the game if one of these keys are sold on a different store.
What in the absolute fuck are you talking about?
Just stop…
Because that’s how Nintendo works. They are the Disney of gaming.
