I can 100% understand that frustration of not cutting out the middle man. In some cases it would be highly beneficial. I remember the story where they customer wanted to have the back of passenger plane open up, sales guy sold it, engineers did it without question. At the end someone asked why, it was because the customer wanted to quickly exchange air… People loss their minds but management was too busy counting the money.
Not a disagreeing with you but I worked with few engineers like this. This is the reason for project managers and sales people as a buffer with clients. They kind of made that joke in Office Space.
Quick non spoiler: Faster paced than souls and the theme style as perfectly executed. Horror elements blended really well as the game progesses over places you’ve been before. A key nonspoiler difference is the addittude toward boss fights. Souls end with victory achieved and Bloodbourne ends with prey slaughtered with major bossed getting and a spoiler text.
I enjoyed both games but the 1st more. Character dialog is heavy. Which really slows getting into the game. Felt like an hour before it really started. After which I felt pretty immersed in the story and wanted to keep going to unravel the mystery. Puzzles are too not challenging with just 1 or 2 giving me a 15 min thought session which ends with discovering a “hidden” thing. What killed the game was the climbing. Waay too tedious. Was only at the end of game that it needed any brain power to warrant needing to aim sticks. Overall, It felt less like a game and more of a medium for the story. By the end I thought it was a fun experience. After what happened to the outward colorists I want play something Frost punk on Mars.
Oh I have a great time with it and I don’t like most city builders. Against the storm and civ are boring to me. Ixion is the closest to a “knock off” that was good.
Very possibly. I can totally see how someone sees one of those dumb city builder games but no this is a stressful fun game with different scenarios and high replayability. Totally worth 10$ on sale. Plus no pay to win, you can finish a scenario In a day.
Would have liked a series so we can see him find a colossus, think up strategies, take out a colossus, do a flash back to him before he went to the valley. Repeat. Slowly showing him get more sick as each episode progresses and eating lizard to boost himself.
