But see, you cant become too proficient at a physical keyboard, you either hit the correct button or you didn’t and there’s no computer deciding edge cases the wrong way because there aren’t edge cases.

My last keyboard phone was the Motorola Photon Q ( which was awesome, had that thing for years) I’ve had 3 total touch screen only phone since then, and only in the last year has it gotten truly terrible. I’m actually in the process of converting a Razr 40 Ultra outer screen into a slider phone with a blackberry q20 keyboard. But if it keeps being a pain in my ass I’ll probably just get the Clicks.

I wish it kept the square screen but the keyboard was a slider.

Somewhere between Spiderman and Arkham Asylum style games would really work really well.

The setting of the first book was very cloak and dagger with lots of similarly and overly powered opponents.

Book 2 and 3 got turned on thier head and you’d probably want to slowly adapt towards Prototype or inFamous as the setting loses its cloak and dagger story elements.

My biggest complaint is the sheer lack of rewards when I finish a fight. Give me any currency.

I have spent so much of this game broke, unable to buy the things I need to advance any side plots.

I’m currently stuck on the fight for the Music in the top left of the citadel. The double boss at the end is brutal. But because no enemy in that fight drops monster parts, I have to quit to grinding it to go grind more materials to build equipment, despite having slain 20+ enemies each run.

4:3 monitors! Perfection.

Edit: Rise of Nations is an excellent XP era RTS

Dolphin, the gamecube emulator is also a fairly complete wii emulator. The wii was basically 2 gamecubes duct-taped together.

My understanding of the original concept was you were essentially running a pokemon daycare, but for cats.

They’re currently not a switch user at all. I’m recommending they don’t start.

The awnser is Zero. A steam deck can play any Switch game and isn’t made by Nintendo.

You mean the thing we’ve been able to do with emulators on computers for 15 years

I had to dig into the issue tracker to find the non-political and anti-woke messaging.

Oh look, a reactionary Godot fork that uses the name of a crypto exchange. They say it’s not political but what they mean is it won’t be “woke”.

Atleast it’ll be easy to identify companies that don’t deserve my money.

I don’t know if that’s true, but most of those patents are incredibly iffy, they seem to describe basic functions of how videogames have worked since WoW.

They seem to have tried patenting having a player character that can walk, drive, and fly in a videogame on May 2, 2024.

It’s kinda surprising they didn’t sue over the much less legally grey IP infringements.

Half of those patents read like if they use vague enough language they can justify patenting how computers work.

It probably has nothing to do with the Russian description in their YouTube link /s

Well I played it, once, 12 years ago when the graphics were good. I don’t remember them being mind blowing, but I don’t remember them being bad either.

I dont think it really had an “are we the baddies” story, it was a very graphic anti war game for me.

It is one of the better executed anti-war message in games. Nothing I’ve played has come as close to its level of execution. I remember thinking, at the time, that the competitive multi-player really undercut the message of the single player campaign.
