why did you leave me at the chinese pavillion girl :(

Yeah, it leans much more into an adventure type gameplay, with dozens of bosses, weapons, armors, etc. When i play minecraft, my main goal is to have a pretty base. When i play terraria i always think to myself “now i will build a pretty base” and just end up with a skyscraper again. imo, building in terraria is one of the less interesting aspects (even though it actually offers a crazy wide range of furniture and customization options)
Looking at the DMC games, if you are into older (ps2-era) titles, DMC1 and DMC3 are pretty good, and come in a bundle with another game that shant be named. Besides there is also platinum games roster like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance or Nier: Automata. I would also recommend hi-fi rush, but afaik that still has denuvo.
There is also Ultrakill which is basically doom with a dmc-esque combat rating system

But even idle-games generally have some interaction. You buy buildings or upgrades or whatever. This might as well just be a 3d animated series with shitty videogame graphics for all the difference it makes.
Edit: gotta admit i didnt read the article. Apparently the game doesnt really have graphics. So… An AI-generated piece of written fiction. And an accompanying map. I feel like amazon is full of those
I dont really know anything about this (never heard of the game either), but god, the author sounds like such a wanker
