Back on the mid 2000s I had a PSP, it was awesome. I hacked it and ripped all my games to the memory, so I can have all my games with me. I didn’t like having to bring the delicate UMD, so hacking it really made the device ultimate for me. Also I mostly collect physical games, really don’t like digital only. This gave me the ability to have both.

I played single player thousands of hours since the Xbox 360. I own maybe 10 copies of gta 5. Sad they never released the DLC.

Maybe in 5 years when it’s $20 I might pick it up. But the hype isn’t there for me anymore.

They blocked Linux on gta 5, so I lost interest in gta 6. Hurts me, but their greed with gta online kind of killed the series for me.

They are not only in that place, but that is the level where you find the most of them.

Are you at the correct level. Minecraft changed the level diamonds are at a few years ago

Well, if we can’t “own” your games, then why buy them?

Just in the past few years I got maybe 100-200 free games. I follow a few discord bots, and several free groups here on lemmy and Slickdeals website. Lots of resources. Amazon prime gives free games, epic free games, lots of free games on steam, itch.io, gog often has free games, other key websites often have free games too.

Can check steam sale prices on steamDB website.

It’s never been on sale. I checked all the websites for price history and game deals.

I hope beat saber goes on sale, my wife wants it but I feel $30 is a bit much.

These are the ones I was interested in.

I went for a few bundles because I already owned thief sim and one of the metro games, so the bundles were an even better deal.

I checked the steam db website and a lot of these were all time low.

Blocking Linux on GTA V was a huge point for me to avoid GTA6, at least for a while after launch.

If you want extra controllers I recommend the 8-bit-do controllers. They are cheaper than Nintendo. The ones I have work on switch, Xbox, pc, android, iOS, etc. they also sell a dongle to work on many more consoles. (I use the dongle on Linux and allows me to play wireless).

I already agree with most of the comments here, just wanted to add info about 3rd party controllers.

That’s awesome! GTA V just screwed everyone on Linux! What a rug pull.

The only AAA game I WAS interested in was GTA6, but after that they just did to GTA5 I’m not interested anymore. I use Linux and they just added anti-cheat that is compatible with Linux but never enabled compatibility. They don’t want me to buy their game.

That’s cool to know, but is there also a mod to use a controller? That’s what keeps me in bedrock (currently playing android bedrock version on Linux).

I’m in the middle of moving so all my VR stuff is packed in storage. Sadly, I may never get to try it.

I get that way sometimes in Minecraft, when I’m under ground exploring then I get lost and feel trapped. After I get back out I then wonder why I left lol

I did find a few on GitHub, but the one I tried had an error after a few downloads, so I just manually got them all.

Also don’t forget to download the offline installers from GOG. I spent all of last week doing that

When the game came out it had a free weekend. I tried it. I started to make a base in the place I spawned in, then I had no idea what to do next lol

Yea I agree, also the stick drift issues and raising the prices of controllers. I wanted a ps5 for when gta6 came out, but with these prices, sticking with PC and waiting for the pc release.

I played all of them, didn’t really care for 6, felt like something was missing but idk.

Great game, I think it’s one of the best from the series.
