Gboard combines Japanese and German in a way that is properly usable. I wish there was a better alternative. That being said, support for east Asian languages (and easy switching) isn’t relevant for most.


What do you mean by that? That the games are easy to emulate, or that volunteers have spent countless hour getting Emulation to work so now it’s possible?


I meet with 3 friends online every 2 weeks to discuss nerd stuff and play some video games together after, and bopl battle has been great for that.


Not to mention the gabe stand made the hot dogs at all accessible for some nerds. Hotdogs were really hard to eat for the penguins.



My recommendation l is going back to the basics: chess, especially lichess.org

You can choose a mode however you want, and it may or may not be stressful. Multiplayer with friends or random online people, choose a time between 30 seconds for a game and infinity to move.

If you don’t want to play right now, you can solve tactical exercises.



I don’t remember the last time I haven’t gotten a game to work on my (Linux) machine, besides for the fact that I’m on a laptop right now, so obviously some stuff will have bad performance.

For example, I played GTA V yesterday on it, the install was painless with steam and the launcher just needed to be started twice.


It’s not about the hardware, obviously better hardware is better but that’s not what it’s about. It’s true tho that they must hate their customers, especially people in competitive scenes and modding.


But to be fair, that’s kinda hard for those old games and it still runs with wine.

That being said, valve is an ally of the Linux community. There are almost no companies that can be trusted, but valve is one of them.


You can detect the hit ratio for shooters and win rates for games with matchmaking, those are really good indicators for cheating.


Besides that, statistics is an unbeatable tool against cheaters.


I feel the same. Over the recent years it’s becoming abundantly clear that Nintendo hates their fans. It’s actually really sad and disappointing.
