Slay the Spire - a roguelike deckbuilder is a lot of fun.
I haven’t actually tried it, but Balatro has made a lot of waves recently and I imagine you could play that with only mouse.
Also, what kind of mouse are you using? If you’re still on a no thumb buttons mouse, you should definitely upgrade. If you only have 2 thumb buttons, as is most common, I’d recommend looking at something with more. My mouse has 3 thumb buttons, and two extra index finger buttons. and while some people like that mouse (i do) some don’t, so I can’t say whether you’d like it, but I will say the extra buttons have allowed me to set up a lot of games that would normally require a keyboard as well into a more mouse only friendly experience.
Yes, 2 had a lot of re-used locations. Some of them did make sense, as the story was almost entirely set within a single city, so certain locations are bound to pop up multiple times, especially as the game takes place over a decade or so.
But the real reason, 2 was developed and rushed out the door in like a year or something? It was a ridiculously short amount of time to develop a sequel to a game as big as DA:O. Unsurprisingly, this led to a LOT of re used assets and locations.
But though it obviously had failings, I, like some others, would probably put DA2 as the high point for the series telling really character driven stories with the most compelling cast of characters.
Honestly, fair criticism, as it is still a $60 game and in my old timer’s brain that means everything should be unlockable through gameplay. Unfortunately, that’s just not how the market seems to work anymore, so I’ll just be glad their extra monetization is only limited to cosmetics and not gameplay stuff as well.
Sir, this is patient gamers. The Alters came out like a week ago.
