I recommend dual booting if that’s the only thing holding you up, as long as you keep Linux/windows on separate disks. I am in linux most of the time but I keep windows around just in case I need to use software that doesn’t work with wine/proton. It seems daunting but you’ll start learning how to use Linux as soon as you start using it as your daily driver.

If you are playing Tarkov on a daily basis then I could see that getting old quick

Using windows 11 got me to switch my home PC to Linux at the start of the year so I have them to thank or that. My work PC just got updated from W10 to W11 and so far it’s so much worse than I was expecting, purely based on performance/buginess alone. I have no problems with most the features but it all feels one step forward two steps back when the whole system seems to be much less responsive

I thought rogue one was an excellent movie but I always had a grudge against it for taking Kyle Katarn absolutely out of the picture in regards to retrieving the death star plans

I’m enjoying it so far, I’m into my third game. It definitely is not without it’s flaws but it definitely scratches the “one more turn” itch for me. I like the new mechanics but what remains to be seen for me is how the replayability will feel compared to 5 & 6

Is there a box PC version of the standard edition? Even if it’s just a game code in the box, I like the other stuff physical copies usually come with

I’ve played oblivion and Skyrim before, it was just Morrowind I stayed away from

I just finished Morrowind for the first time a few weeks ago, vanilla other than using openmw. It has aged a lot better than I expected it would have. I can definitely see why people say it’s their favorite TES, and I’m not talking with any kind of nostalgia.

How is this game compared to something like Banished? No city builder has been as fun as banished for me

What are the games closest to Metroid without being Metroid I can get? I’ve already played axiom verge

If you’re playing the game vanilla you won’t really miss anything, assuming you own all of the DLCs/expansions. Both games are modable but in my experience special edition is much more stable

I’m there too. I was really excited for the game. Didn’t watch any promotional material. Have never seen a trailer for the game and stayed away from any media of it. I got bored so fast and I can’t force myself to keep playing it as it felt like there was nothing more to see after the first few hours
