Vermintide 2 dlc where Saltzpyre gets a piglet as a hat. Best goddamn $5 I’ve ever spent on dlc. His little legs and his butt wiggle around when you move and ofc the purity seals are on point.

Also way back in DCUO when fire tank was busted AF I kept summoning fireballs that I would then Chuck into my buddy trying his best to actually complete whatever task we were doing.

Also Also max difficulty helldivers 2 against the robots on Mavelon Creek. It was a struggle to survive more than 10 seconds out of the drop pod and it was some of the funniest shit I’ve ever played.

Never heard this take before but KoA:R is a bards tale level RPG. Nothing even remotely hardcore, but not balanced for children either.

As a welder, I’ve had a female coworker ONCE in 15 years working in the industry. My current work doesn’t even have a bathroom for women in the same building as most of the workers. Ig we did hire a female welder, she’d have to walk across the parking lot to the administration building to actually use a women’s bathroom.

Skyrim did it first with dragons. Honestly I bought palworld specifically to spite shitendo and ended up pleasantly surprised by a very playable game. Shitendo is just mad that someone else did it better on a shoestring budget

You can’t argue that 40k panders to the LGBT crowd because fuckin obviously if you’ve ever even looked at a 40k title, but you also can’t really argue that 40k isn’t at least a little sexual.

You got ratlings, pretty much everything slaanesh, aeldari waifus, and the entire Ciaphas Cain series. And while yeah, you don’t exactly get steamy love triangles in mainline 40k lore, you also have callidus assassin’s and sisters of silence popping up all the damn time. Sex isn’t the focus (mostly. Looking at you ciaphas) but it’s certainly present in the setting.

It’s this new thing called the “internet” that has all kinds of information on it.

Honestly never got into satisfactory (besides watching silly runs on youtube) but I absolutely fell in love with goat Sim. Nothing beats that damned goat when it comes to a happy, silly reset for the burnt out gamer.

Besides buying out all the DRG cosmetic packs because I’m a whore for coffee stain and ghost ship, the best DLC cosmetic I’ve ever bought is the dumb piglet Saltzpyre wears on his head in Vermintide 2. It’s got a little wiggly butt and floppy Lil legs and it’s adorable. Best $5 I’ve ever spent.

Remnant 2 and Deep Rock Galactic are the best that come to mind rn.

Remnant 2 is dark souls with guns and coop actually changes the game in some ways to better enable teamwork to make the dream work.

Deep Rock Galactic is just a wonderful little title about space dwarves mining a crazy bug planet. 100% randomly generated. Each of 4 classes feel like they bring something unique to each mission.

Presequel is great, wonderlands is not. Tiny Tina’s dlc in 2 was absolutely perfect and MAYBE should’ve gotten a sequel dlc in 3, but there was never enough content for a stand alone title. Certainly not at a full game price point. I always look back to farcry 3 for the proper way to handle a stand alone dlc installment. Blood dragon was always a smaller spinoff and it worked well in that regards.

Well I assumed since you were gonna tell him. Also better teach him to swim the other way if he ever sees a button with the letters “BUY” on it.

Don’t get too excited. The studio was been acquired by the publisher of PUBG, and their stated plans are to release subnautica 2 as a live service game with possible coop. I don’t think subnautica 2 is going to be anything like what you’re expecting. They’ve CLAIMED there will be no subscriptions or anything similar, but they’ve been conspicuously silent on microtransactions.

17 after being groomed for ~3 years when dingus tried to meet up and the parents went loud with twitch. Grooming a 14 year old girl is generally considered in bad taste.

Picked up MW5 Mercenaries the other day and liked it so much I picked up all thr DLCs for it too. Not sure that was the best move as a few early mechs have some annoyingly powerful equipment

This should be bread and butter of immersive gameplay. Show, don’t tell. If I want a 1.5k word info dump I’ll go to one of my stories on royalroad. Letting me make my own narrative will be more enjoyable for me 95% of the time.

To be fair, Morrowind is just that kind of game. It’s been many years since I’ve played it, but I remember it being one of the last truly open world experiences I got from playing games. The plot drops you off in the first city and kind of just let’s you go at it. I remember hours of just wandering until I ended up at the city of vivec, which is the mess of floating pyramid temple lookin jobbies out on a lake somewhere. I didn’t know shit about anything but it was awesome and that was enough for me. Elden Ring almost brings this feeling back sometimes.

I will agree the crafting system is incredibly unintuitive even before you get into the more obscure aspects like helminth or archon shards, but there is some story if you really want to dig for it. Honestly I was pretty firmly a casual player until I got to the chains of harrow and from there I was hooked. It’s not a constant thing for me, but a couple months out of the year I like to check back in and see what’s new. The movement and combat are big sellers for me though. I find myself reverting to/wanting the warframe movement system in pretty much every other game I play after lol

If you liked anthem, might I suggest the mother of all robot ninja shooter games, Warframe?

We already have it and it’s called Helldivers 2: Also with Bugs!
