Pass. Such a tired genre at this point.

If you can’t tell it’s AI, then it’s a problem entirely made up in your own head.

I really don’t think he was getting at that, it just seems like misdirected blame. It’s like if Nike stopped selling their shoes on Amazon and you went “Fuck you Jeff Bezos!”.

Oooh, I got you OP. If you liked the dense micro-maps of Into the Breach, check out Bad North. Defend small islands from waves of invaders with limited troops. Not an overly long game, but very satisfying for what it is.

Sounds like someone is a bit salty they can’t immediately get the timing right in Expedition 33 and it’s reminding them of all the other times they’ve sucked. Get good, loser.

2 years seems like a nightmare for indie developers. Do you want a bunch of AI Chinese cash grabs pushing things out like Hollow Knight 2: Microtransaction Edition or Stardew Valley Romance Sims? Because without IP protection, indie developers will get creamed.

My dude… Not only can Asians be racist, they are some of the most racist people around. Go to China and listen to them talk about other races. They make Alabama seem like a pinnacle of equality and tolerance.

Uhg, I’m pretty sure I got 90% of the way through that game and then I took a break for some reason or another. Came back and was just completely lost. And just like you, cant even look up a guide because I don’t know where I’d begin to look.

Guns of Icarus, my beloved.

Also, Global Agenda.

Good luck playing Black Flag unless you pirate it. Ubisoft fucking broke it with their shitty app. If will still work if you’ve previously installed and launched it, but if you’re a first time player, the launcher will prompt you to log in to you Ubisoft account, and then just never run.

Sure. Unless you have a gaming friend group that gets interested in some new multiplayer game. Then you either buy it so you can play with them, or you don’t play with them. If this continues for multiple games, you will slowly grow distant from your friend group.

I played the entire game on the WiiU, plus the DLC. Collected almost all the koroks too. The game ran fine, I noticed zero issues and thought it looked gorgeous. So, I’m not sure what the fuck you’re smoking.

Oh also, all those fun videos that came out around that time of people modding the game? You know, the ones where you could be Steve from Minecraft and fight giant Shrek’s instead of Hinox’s? All of those were from a WiiU emulator, not a Switch emulator. Because the game ran just fine on the WiiU software.

Mumble is a terrific VOIP program. It’s audio quality and reliability are WAY better than discord. But it does not nearly have enough features to be a good replacement. It’s missing features like being able to stream in-app, share videos, keep and pin messages in different channels, pinging system for people and groups… The list goes on. These are features that groups and communities have come to rely on.

An analogy would be like comparing an incredibly good tent to a shitty house. While the tent is probably comfier to sleep in, eventually you’re going to want things like outlets, kitchen appliances, toilets, and showers which make the shitty house the better long-term choice.

Soyboy stealth archer has to slowly sneak around and line up shots one at a time. If spotted, he must hide, or run, until aggro drops and he can start sneaking again.

Chad two-handed weapon user boldly charges in and power attacks anything that moves until all that’s left are bloody corpses. When spotted, enemies will rush him, saving him the trouble of having to hunt them down.

It’s absolutely the case here. It’s the retailers buying from them that have to pay the tariffs, not the manufacturer. So they’re not increasing costs to make up for the tariffs, they’re just increasing costs that retailers will have to pay ON TOP OF the extra they’re already having to pay for the tariffs.

Its like a company trying to justify increasing the cost of their goods just because the sales tax on their goods went up. The company’s profits are unchanged by the tax increase, it’s just the consumer who’s getting screwed twice.

I bought Black Flag a few years ago during a steam sale because I heard it was good, but never got around to playing it.

Last week I decided to finally give it a try. Got it downloaded, only to be asked to sign in with my UPlay account. Ok, pain in the ass, but whatever. Got my password reset and entered it in and then… Nothing. Login window closes, game does not launch.

I scoured the internet looking for a solution and found a ton of people with the same issue. I also found many reported “fixes” that did not work for me, nor for anyone else judging by the numerous replies to each of them saying the “fixes” did nothing.

So cool, and since I bought it years ago, it’s not like I can refund it. Guess I bought a game I won’t ever be able to play unless I decide to pirate it. Ironic. Thanks Ubisoft!

It had a somewhat interesting combat system for an MMO, but there were a TON of glaring gameplay and balance issues that essentially guaranteed the game would be dead after a month or two.

That message was 5 days ago. I have no love for Bioware or their actions, but maybe we need to wait a little while longer before deciding “how that turned out”?

And is about as bare bones as you can get. Sorry, but that just doesn’t cut it today. People have moved on from ONLY needing VOIP. Sharing images, videos, text, etc. is a big part of gaming communities now. Even small groups will want to share info from time to time that Mumble just can’t do well.

Suggesting Mumble is like suggesting someone get a bike when they’re asking what type of car they should get. Yea, sure, you can make a bunch of arguments for why a bike is better and why cars are bad, but at the end of the day; if the person is wanting an actual car, your suggestion is not helpful, useful, or appreciated.

I’m fine with this. There are some braindead or brand new players out there who should 100% be confined to the kiddie pool until they learn the basic mechanics.

Definitely do! If anything, I’m underselling just how much content it adds. It’s even set a few decades after the base game so it really is like a full sequel.

For those who fondly remember FTL and think they got everything out of it; I highly, HIGHLY, recommend getting the Multiverse mod. It’s essentially FTL 2 and adds an absolutely insane amount of content. Seriously, it’s like 10x bigger than the base game. Dozens of new ships and equipment, several new races, hundreds of new events, new paths, new victory conditions. It is amazing and has really breathed new life into such an awesome game.

I can’t figure out how to enable the document scanner by default. I can only get it to work by pointing my camera at something and waiting for it recognize that it might be a document and then ask if I want to scan it.

They made a standalone Gwent game that was pretty fun.

Then they started fucking with it and changing up the rules and gameplay and now it’s not fun.

I really think you’re underestimating how much and what kind of content they offer, but you do you.

Most AAA games with even a tangential relation with Microsoft get released on Game Pass on day 1

I’m still baffled at the logo redesign to what looks like a butthole. Like, you’re telling me NO ONE on the design team watched Community?

The butchering mechanic is mostly there as a joke. After you do it once, you unlock a much better and friendlier version of recycling your duplicate Pals.

Looks like you’re connected to something via Bluetooth. Is it a pair of headphones? Could your alarms be going off and playing through them? That’s happened to me a couple times.

Signal once again dodges a bullet from attracting neo-nazi’s and getting a bad reputation.

Funnily enough, a few months back someone at Hi-Rez quietly spun up a Global Agenda server. You can actually go play it with your old account if you remember the login, but there’s usually only like 10 people on at a time lol.

AAAA was a term said by a single out of touch Ubisoft executive for a single game that wasn’t very good. He was ridiculed for it at the time.

So AAAA means nothing. At all. Stop using it.
