I’m pretty happy with 4.0. They sucked all the features from it, and the missions are having problems. But the game fucking works, finally. Or at least it did during the first 24 hours of the patch. About fucking time.

That being said this whole shake up was clearly a cost saving strategy, since most of 2024 was not the best in term of making money, a LOT of people jumped shit this year, and I don’t blame them. CIG messed up so much this year. They have alot of goodwill to re-earn from the community and 4.0 is a start but only that.

If I’m only getting around 60-62 fps in a game, that’s enough for me to no longer get 60 fps anymore.

Remember when they made a handheld last year? You know the one that requires the ownership of a ps5? Imagine instead of making that they made this instead? No?

All of those games you just picked are quite old, watchdogs 2 came out in 2016, these games no longer are the ubishit standard, they are far above it. Plus Ubispft doesn’t make sequels to those games anymore, for whatever reason.

I’m a gamer, and absolutely fuck these damn things. I still haven’t bought helldivers 2 yet. I refuse to compromise my system for their issues.

They aren’t listening to their community is what. I play almost daily, and all they fucking talk about is ‘wait for 4.0, it’s going to be so much better!’ But they refuse to fix major problems, performance sucks, and the recent 3.24.2 patch may or may not have borked the game in many ways.

They need to perfect the game that already exists, fix the issues and iron out the code before working on more fucking mechanics. I swear it’s so bad. The article calls Chris a perfectionist, but that couldn’t be furtfrom the truth, he is a dreamer, that says put this amazing thing in then forgets about it and moves on to the next thing overnight. The game will go nowhere until he’s gone.

There’s nothing more annoying than chilling in ff 8 doing your own thing, then the loudest fucking music ever interrupts your fun time, ff 10 was awful about it too.

But other games it’s no problamo, I think the best way to do it is how the mother series went about it, with them being semi random and dodgable if you were good and didn’t want to do them.

The graphics were like that on the left due to the modded xboxes. The, upresing caused the textures to be weird which is why it looked like that. A large portion of the article is about then fixing this issue.

Jesus, I was downloading and installing packages earlier for unreal 5.4 and it basically bricks my pc until the install is finished. Infuriating.

I always go by the hour rule, 1 hour = 1 dollar, if I put that much time into a game, I’d say it was a deal.

Also the game is pretty darn fun, even with it’s issues. So the price is fine. Has dedicated servers, join off steam friends, and zombie bears.

This game is 45 dollars. It always has been. Support for it has only increased over time. Also I really don’t look at CIG as a AAA dev, whomever said that forgot what a Kickstarter/self funded game is.
