Ive since replaced mine with a steam deck, which is amazing and very capable. I wouldn’t mind more power, but the form factor, and combo with a dock make it amazingly impressive.
Still, its much larger than gpd win was, would love a device that size again. I spent a whole paycheck on that thing, and would again if it was the same form factor.

From the finalists, I voted for mage arena, that game is cool af. Yelling fireball at 2 in the morning is great. Not for the neighbors tho.
I haven’t played blue prince but people keep telling me its amazing and innovative so based off sentiment I guess that probably should have won.
But based off personal playing experience i would say Peak, it really changed how I look at ruining friendships. Nothing is more innovative than force feeding a friend poison. /s
The category is ambiguous on what actually innovation is. Graphics? Mechanics? How much money spent making the game? Technically would be an innovation right? Its somewhat difficult to pin down so I do understand why people look at arc, but I disagree with choice personally.
I for the life of me cannot believe that a nsfw account is arguing with me about confidence while not giving an inkling of evidence themselves. You know nothing of AI “art” and it shows.

Here is a ps3 i generated from chatgpt just now, it details every single thing you stated. The prompt was: “Generate me a Playstation 3 pixel art image”
If you aren’t willing to give even an inkling of proof to your claims, or even try to show proof when talking about jpeg errors then you have no grounds to stand on.
You are defending ai art, weather you realize it or not.

I don’t understand you defending ai art, but here, the extremely obvious odd coloring texturing the surface of the ps1 would be enough for anyone to notice, but the generation error in the top is proof. This smudge line is where the ai failed on its final pass, likely to do with clipskip or whatever crap open ai uses as this is clearly open ai’s image model.
Why are you defending ai art so hard, what do you get from defending a massive cooperation?

Early access might legitimately be the way to save the failing AAA market. You get a real chance to learn what players actually want, and how to appeal to them, while slotting your game into its proper niche.
I mean sure, there’s bound to be stinkers, there always is. But Early access would kinda rock for these games. “The game runs like shit, we don’t want to play it.” Then next month you get a dedicated patch for performance and begs get squashed faster and more efficiently. Imagine if they didn’t fuck around with borderlands 4 and released as an ea title. Could have worked.

As a long time player, its probably settings. Which isn’t your fault.
This shit is optimized like a snail in an f1 race, it just doesn’t work. Turning clouds up is actually a viable way to get the game to run well, its super cpu bound, so if you turn up some settings it offloads some of that work to the gpu, freeing up some fps.
In my experience it plays way better now, but SC is a cranky bitch and its a free flight, never played a free flight that plays well, usually because players who don’t know what they are doing clutter environments with busted ships, trash and more.

I’ve used 3, one that turns the phone into a switch basically, an Xbox controller with a clip adapter, and a migoo I think the brand was basically an Xbox controller with a slot.
They all sucked. The switch one was too small for my hands, probably great for kids though. No software.
Xbox had the best compatibility but it was heavy af and awkward to hold.
Same with the migoo, but also never wanted to connect to android and when it did, most controller games failed to see it, even emulators hated it.
That’s why. Too many variables when you can just get a comfortable device dedicated to emulation.

Im not sure you understand how companies work. Which is okay you don’t have to. But Sony, a super company does not actually have a stake in 99% of the things it invests in. It throws money at stuff for a multitude of reasons then wipes it hands. The thing existing at a particular time helps them the money and stakes are irrelevant.
Basically Sony wanted Palworld on Playstation and probably knew pocket pair would fight Nintendo, this gave them a chance to watch from the sidelines. Also Aniplex was a big part of this deal, unsure how much. Sony doesn’t own the ip, and cannot tell pocket pair what to do. These two things are literally mountains apart, since Sony cannot do anything with palworld.

Palworld is a AA game, they had outside funding ala Sony, they are not a full indie studio. They are in-between. This is well known.
Edit: This is also not equivalent at all. Have you seen Sony chip in on the Nintendo v palworld case? They don’t have a stake in it even remotely. Pocketpair stands by themselves, them getting funding by Sony is highly irrelevant.
Naw, thats a blank. Don’t remember that one.
