What does it have to do with the marathon IP? Like im genuinely curious if this has some kind of link to the original games or if its just bungie planning a tax write off by tanking an IP they own the rights to.
It seems like the only reason theyd slap an old IP onto something this generic looking is because they need a cash grab and expect the game to fail.
I keep play protect off because it blocks some modded apks which makes sense, its similar to how on windows using most pirated software requires white listing the app in windows anti virus.
You can tell it’s going to suck when they open with how the “creators” of some other games are back to do a new game.

As someone who only pirated it, I thought it was pretty good. I just wish they would bring back create a fighter, but I know that’s never gonna happen because then they couldn’t charge for new ones.
I remember a fad some years ago when androind 4 or 5 was around and the market was pushing “hybrid” phones and tablets that also had a desktop mode like they do “foldable” stuff now.
If you want a Google desktop why not get just a chromebook?
My uneducated guess is that most of the time spent on any optimization has to go to console ports. With PC you can just tell people to get a better PC, but with Sony and Microsoft they will straight up refuse to sell your game if it doesnt run well enough (see: CP2077 on ps4 or BG3 on Xbox).
Pixel is the best option, you dont need root these days for anything good, you can still root if you really want to but it defeats a lot of security that you’d otherwise have and for what gain?
I don’t think any other phones would have a larger modding scene then Pixels either.
its really not tho. the creator took it off the market because they felt bad about how addictive it was, the only reason this new one exists is to exploit people.
you need to get a different device. As others suggested a watch is your best bet but dont expect those options to respect your privacy any more or less than google.
