Yeah, they’re just making it clearer now.

I guess this is just a 100% confirmation for software that has required manual intervention from their team, and isn’t just a re-host of the ‘warts and all’ original.

I think they’ve earned the brag though.

Bro I just need to see your cock and balls I’m not a creep it’s for your safety just get your balls out pleeeeeeeeease I’m not a creep promise bro

I’ve tried playing through AW2 as it was a GOTY contender, but I just… don’t like horror games. I managed to get a bit further by lowering the difficulty, but I still wasn’t liking the spoopy stuff.

I’ll manage one day…

I believe the FPGA modules are written with 100% unique, non-Nintendo code. Maybe the only issue could be the cartilage connector? I’ve had an Analogue Pocket for a while and that project hasn’t been taken down.

Is it much different to something like Pop_OS? I usually hear of Bazzite as a third-party ROG Ally OS.

With anti-cheat being one of the major things causing games to be Windows dependant, that is hilarious.

Gonna get to enjoy some reg edits on that machine then!

Edit: So I just looked at that machine that is set to take all new updates, and it doesn’t look to be installed like it is for that guy in the video. However, it looks like this machine hasn’t picked up 24H2 yet, which is strange as I thought it was meant to be worldwide now?

MS really can’t make stuff easy.

On my Windows 11 machine I just uninstalled Copilot via the normal app uninstall process. Unless I’m misunderstanding, I don’t think it’s tied into the OS in any fundamental way. I assume most debloating scripts include the step anyway.

Kinda crap that it’s installed by default though.

Will we ever see an official HTPC ISO release? I’m currently running Chimera and liking it so far, but wouldn’t be against dropping it if something 1st party comes along.

Sony seem all-in on Astro Bot as a mascot over Sackboy, so LBP might just be buried as an IP outside of crossover references.

The real Halloween scare this year. Chud site source: https://x.com/LittleBigPlanet/status/1843652568389480651

Fun fact: It’s been as long between the release of RDR to this port as it was between the release of RDR and the launch of the N64.

As long as they stick with Linux as their target platform for the future, then I think the hardware side of this is safe. The problem is if their storefront goes to shit. People have pretty much their entire hobby reliant on one company on a platform that’s supposedly meant to have open competition as a benefit.

Valve is just one shite CEO away from going from PC’s blessing to its curse.

You could put this game in my hands and I still won’t believe it’s actually real.

Uninstalling this should be a crime.

Wonder if they’ll do a GOG release like FO:L. It seems like it drove a lot of traffic to the platform so I’m sure CDP would be up for it.

I’ve been waiting for Comet integration. So will this include time tracking, achievements, cloud saves etc? I know there were cloud saves before but it was a bit inconsistent for me.

They’ve just gotta avoid filling it with thinly-veiled fetish content.

I wonder if the rumored Xbox handheld means that Microsoft might actually develop a controller-friendly shell for Windows? I know a concept leaked a year or so ago, but it sounds like that didn’t go anywhere.

TIL you can flash ROMs onto Android TV devices.

Edit: I’ve never looked into making a custom Android TV device either. I have a Shield but it could be cool to make my own with a Pi 5 or something for travel.

So Matt Berry being in Fable is pretty much a given at this point, right?

I found I did a lot more chores when I started tracking them with a points system.

I watched more new TV & movies when I signed up for Trakt, more games with Exophase and Backloggd, more books with StoryGraph, more anime and manga with Myanimelist…

Does the app need to be open (like old PokeGo…) or does it just track in the background?

Apple: “You’ve just gotta brick their phone if they use 3rd party parts!”

Samsung: “Brick it, you say?”

There are some things I don’t really understand after reading this article:

  1. Why exactly does Samsung want the customer data? Are they wanting to ban their Samsung account or something?

  2. How exactly does Samsung police this? Surely the repair shop could just… not tattle?

  3. What the hell does the repair shop tell the customer when they return their phone in literal fucking pieces?

Would be cool to see it support libraries outside the Steam ecosystem and have it as a general Wine platform. Would be nice to use it with some GOG games.

"Final Fantasy 15 also gave the development team valuable experience."

cross-posted from: https://beehaw.org/post/513126 > Copying this from another comment > > TL;DR: This is not a DLC. This is Cyberpunk 2.0. > > • virtually every system of the main game has been changed and/or updated > • police system is completely reworked with multiple tiers of NCPD/mercs chasing you down in vehicles according to your wanted level, apparently on level 5 maxtac will chase you down and it will be some sort of bossfight against them (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riK1i8lQwRM&t=511s) > • perks and skills have been completely overhauled, no longer simple passive stat boosts, much more active abilities like different melee finishers, a dash, or the ability to deflect bullets with melee weapons > • the difficulty curve is reworked/rebalanced > • the loot tiers are reworked > • archetypes of enemies have been redone for more variety in combat encounters > • an entirely new 6th skill tree that uses a different type of skill points (relic points) that will be used to add new abilities to your cyberware > • installing cyberware now has an effect on your body and you cant install too much or else you will go cyberpsycho (no idea what that looks like in game) > • installing cyberware now has a first person cutscene added to it, just like in the prologue at Vik’s clinic > • you can now “attune” cyberware to one of your attributes, making it more efficient if you have invested in that attribute; example here optical camo is attuned to the “cool” attribute: https://i.imgur.com/1UI9SEX.png > • armor is no longer tied to clothing, it instead tied to your cybernetics > • vehicle combat is added to the game, you can even use your katana on your bike > • vehicles are no longer bought from fixers, but bought through a website set up by mama welles > • some vehicles have guns installed on them (machine guns, rocket launchers) > • new type of infinitely replayable/repeatable missions are being added where you need to steal certain vehicles marked on your map > • new activity introduced “airdrops”, loot caches that drop randomly on the map that you can fight over and retrieve for yourself > • tons of new random events/activities are added to make the world feel more alive, like car chases and gang fights
