Isnt every other new game “the most wish listed on steam”? Do any of them ever prove this with numbers?

Made by ASUS. It’s just an xbox branded ASUS Ally, a product that already existed (maybe updated to 2025)

Didn’t they just announce last week that the entire project is on pause?

Doesn’t seem to hurt Bethesda. Oblivion remaster drops and the Internet ate that shit up like the pile of old shit it is.

I’m betting on no stock, why supply the cheap ones when they can “focus” on the expensive ones and have people waiting on the edge of their seats for the opportunity to get one. They’ll push people into the mindset of “well the expensive one is available NOW and who knows how long until the less expensive one is available so I’ll just get this one now”

I felt exactly the same. There’s just SOMETHING wrong with the Frostbite 3 engine that even now DICE doesn’t seem to be able to get physics right. Things feel strongly floaty and delayed.

Up to battlefield 3 everything felt exactly how an fps should be, snappy, fast, and realistic enough. 4 used Frostbite 3 and remember how buggy it was on launch but after years of work is still one of the best they ever made. But somehow 1 and on theres just something off that I just can’t put my finger on.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve put at least several dozen hours into every one of them so it’s not like I played a few matches and quit.

But 1942, 2, BC 1 AND 2, 3, and 4 I put hundreds if not thousands of hours into them

Bf3 and 4 were some of the most popular are best selling shooters of their time. 1, V, and 2042? Eh, pass

No shit it’s not, even both being under microsoft I don’t think they’re interested in working with Bethesda still

Jeff “Metroid Prime 4 Announcement Tomorrow” Grubb? Jeff “Switch Pro Imminent” Grubb?

There’s a certain level of unpolish my friend and I felt. We ended up just restarting 3 instead

Probably the shit tier engine thats still being shoved to market with new makeup on after decades of use

Or the miraculous assumption that surely I won’t become infected, but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna be safe for other people!

Look up zaibatsu, Japan has a LONG history of conglomeration

Jens Bergensten? The man who has lead 99% of the games development after the initial Alpha releases by notch? He’s contributed more to that game and it’s success than that shithead ever did

Bullshit, words are cheap now that you’re out of the job. There was zero indication that this was the direction he wanted before the buyout

Edit: Ybarra is now CEO of a fucking Fantasy Football company

I actually liked beyond earth 🥲

Never played the first one, but I’ve put a solid 15 hours in this one so far. A bit of a learning curve but man it’s a solid city builder.

Promoting a company that lead the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy and thus partial destruction of their culture and way of life

Not a single one, map points are discovered and marked as you approach them, otherwise they are question marks on your compass and nothing else, the map itself is empty until you fill it in

To be clear, you can run away and hide. The only times I’ve been insta caught are when a guard is inches from me, facing me, because wtf is my character going to do with a blaster rifle in her face, she’s just a smuggler not a jedi

But typically, when a guard sees you from afar they go yellow and walk in your direction, checking out the disturbance and you have a split second to find cover or get away. If you fail to then yes you’re caught.

To be fair I am yet to understand why a restricted area means I can’t use my pistol, but I can sneak up on them and take them out with melee…or have Nix attack them and using one of the upgrade abilities have them shoot wildly during that and thus kill their own buddy next to them, and that’s fine? Why couldn’t I pull out my own pistol and ice them both myself

I dont understand the “Ubisoft Game” comments, it is nothing like AC or Farcry. Is it super complex? No. Is it a large and beautifully detailed world? Absolutely. The story is stellar, loving it so far and still not done. The worlds and environments are fantastic. Would I buy it at the moment? Only if you are a big Star Wars fan, otherwise its entirely single player, you’re not missing out if you wait for a sale in a little while

I have probably 20 hours in this game now, these missions are annoying but it’s not that bad. Fail maybe 1 a day, and just do it again and move on

Shapez 2, it has consumed my life. Once I run out of shapez to produce I will only have my life left to contribute to the void
