Talking to my two young barbers is kinda surreal sometimes. They always ask me if i play video games, because that’s pretty much everything we have in common. But for them playing video games means buying every call of duty and every fifa as soon as possible. It’s just the normal thing to do for them. They don’t care who makes the game or if it’s good or anything. I play a few niche games, but they have never heard of anything i ever played. Apex? Destiny? Overwatch? Never heard of it.
I find it odd when i go to a random barber who is 19-25 or so asks me what i like. I tell them video games, but it never results into anything, because to them videogames are usually fifa or call of duty. They have never even heard of the games i play. Compared to when i was like 10, everyone seemed to play the same games.
Eh depends. When covid hit, my friends convinced me to play warzone, and i haven’t touched any call of duty game since modern warfare 2. I watched random streamers, because i had no idea what i was doing and what was going on. Streamers from the uk were like: i’m here with my friends playing some warzone and get some cheeky snipes. And american stremers were like: TODAY ME AND THE COOL SQUAD IS RAPING SOME KIDS WHO SUCK AT WARZONE… While calling everyone a cheater and stream sniper. I know this is very generalizing and unfair, but it’s badically the same with gordon ramsey, the joke is that he’s mean and loud, and he is, on american tv.
I still think the biggest reason why they wanted to push their shitty platform is to artificially push player numbers. “Look how many people use our scam network, see?”
Now the hilarious part is that hopefully someone has to explain why people go these lengths, just to not join their shitty service.
Mabe, but if they start buffing stuff more they also need either new difficulties or pump them up as well. I run through missions with basically meme loadouts as long as i have either a quasar even after they nerfed it or a jump pack.
Deep rock galactic is a pretty similar game, but feels way harder on max difficulty, and they are implementing a harder difficulty as well. I play with a lot of people who just get dragged through helldiver missions and die 15 times, that’s not really the point of the scaling imo.
I haven’t tried the bew slugger yet becase i tried new things, but there was no reason to not use the slugger for me.
I couldn’t care less about balancing. People are such babies when they nerf a thing they like. They need to stop watching these “use this meta loadout in helldivers to DESTROY bots” on youtube. I don’t think the spear for example is very good, but i still use it quite a bunch, because it’s hella fun. Turns out that’s why i play video games. This isn’t call of duty, where uou need to use the same gun and attachment as everyone else.
The senator got a huge buff in the last patch, i’ve been using nothing but the senator before the buff. People cried when the railgun couldn’t oneshot literally everything in the game anymore… Like is that what you want?
I haven’t tried linux for like 8 years now and my oly problem was that the games i played back then weren’t supported by linux. I kinda want them to force me to dip into linux again. Last week or so i had to solve a fucking riddle to start my computer to not accidentally accept anything. I hate it so much.
Because that’s all the games they have. Imagine they would also suck. People who bought a ps5 would feel even dumber
