Mario 64. Never really had the patience before, I would rather play PC games. It’s pretty fun. Gameplay is where it’s at.

Translated: Adults 18 to 25 are using there parents healthcare and are not paying for the crappiest healthcare being offered at their first jobs.

Son wanted to play Minecraft, here’s your mouse and keyboard

My crystal ball says Gamepass device. Comes with a free subscription for the first 6 months… Hard to see, it might be a free year.

Good idea, but I imagine it might be hard to prove here shortly. For instance there’s a YouTube video about movies with “no CGI” are actually just movies with hidden CGI. https://youtu.be/7ttG90raCNo?feature=shared

Microsoft wants all future apps to go through their store. Basically like Apple does in Mac [ appears you can ]. I do believe this is the future for Windows apps. Once that happens, Valve running on Windows will be second fiddle. Valve’s only choice is to migrate to another OS or end up like Mozilla.

Free games are good. Have been using Heroic launcher in Linux. Free or not, I’m still waiting for the time to be right.

Site says “launching on December 12, 2044”, guess I’ll have to wait.

From the article

“There’s an aspect of irony to the complaint: Elon Musk turned Twitter into a haven for racism and far-right rhetoric, after all, and he’s being rewarded with a high seat in the incoming US government.”

I’m not interested but it’s cool that Sony is giving Digital Foundry a bunch of new content.

It is funny how they complain but don’t leave. It’s just a bad relationship.

Just make a chip that is cheaper, more energy efficient and I’ll be happy. I keep hearing that laptops, desktops, consoles and phones don’t matter but for some reason companies in those markets are doing okay (Nvidia, AMD, TSMC)

Valve is the only good thing in the hellscape. Linux support, cheap games and free multiplayer.

Who else provides this?

How can this be? All the games I buy on Steam are cheaper than on other platforms. Where are these cheaper games?

I’m older so probably not in the demographic. I had a PS4 and liked it. My only complaint was paying for online service. But getting “free” games with the service, okay sure. Lol, you can play some games without PS+. I found this out playing rocket League, yay?

I thought about getting a PS5, but I’m not down with the whole rat race vibe. Paying more then retail seems silly. Resellers, nope. After 3 years the luster of having a new console is over. I’m fine with Steam.

The indie scene still seems good though.

Like how the NES game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had Pizza Hut ads? Or like how the NES and Genesis have McDonald’s games?
