Jackbox Games has finally announced it is making a party pack game made specifically for adults, with a release date set for sometime this year.

Ehhh, I mean, the whole thing is that these games are already as adult as you want them to be. Maybe it’ll be fun, but I’m not seeing the appeal tbh.

I’ve been following the jackbox stuff since it’s inception and I can’t agree more. Hopefully it’s good though. I guess we’ll see. Let them cook, I suppose

I’m give them the benefit of the doubt. They do great work.

That’s true. I’ve enjoyed every pack so far, so I’m sure they know what they’re doing. At the very least, I’ll be checking it out.

We usually keep the family-friendly filter on when playing with our daughter and her friend (teenagers) but the answers can often get a little dirty. Out of curiosity we turned it off one time but it quickly went to a whole different level that none of us were comfortable with playing with each other, so we put the filter back on.

I suppose with the right group it could be fun, but you’d probably have to be real comfortable with your friends, and have enough friends you’re that comfortable with. Like, if it was just my wife and me we’d have fun, but that’s not enough players for most of those games.

I hope it’s more 2p friendly. Other boxes don’t even work that well with 3p.
