Nor am I here to discredit anyone’s enjoyment of it. People have different tastes but it’s also the “it gets better after 100h!” Trope… If a game can’t capture someone after several play sessions and 16h total… It ain’t going to.
It’s a shame they pigeon hold the idea of robo dinos in this sci fi yet caveman like era because I’d love to explore more of it… Just not in this format.
Robot dinos are well made. I’m not disputing that. It’s the only reason I put up with it for 16h… But I got bored to death with the same open world formula.
As for where my bar is set? I enjoy games like red dead 2 or space marine 2 from recent memory. But my go to are mods and older RPGs, Gothic 2 is gold standard to me. Games like Rogue Trader from owlcats etc. I enjoy depth and hand crafted nature. Hence games like kingdom come rank high on my list for believable world building with memorable characters. I don’t recall a single name from my 16h with horrison…
God of war (the remake) did it well to keep focus on characters and story as opposed to “clutter” and massive open world filled with markers.

Let that studio die. I’m tired of them pretending they’re some second coming of Jesus because they made fallout new Vegas. Yes we all liked kotor and while pillars wasn’t my thing, owlcats have them beat, it was well recived.
But either they can’t or simply won’t make a good game. Take whatever talent is left and start a smaller studio which doesn’t just rip Bethesda’s ideas.
OW is the most generic crap I had mis-pleasure of playing. It somehow made starfield stand out.
They should retcon everything after 3, just give us saints row 3.5 in whole new area. Fuck it, make it saints row taking over a small island country for tax reasons and just roll with it. Mix CIA into it because it’s a American vessel or some shit to make it still feel like new York or LA or whatever they need. The details aren’t important if the end picture is delivered.
That’s XBOX ALLY X, the more powerful version.

So this itsy tiny company, called CD Project. You know what they started as? Locolisation for the Polish market because there was no standards. That’s their claim to fame before ever starting on a game themselves.
Your comment has to be an anecdotal. Because games lived and died by localisations. Game like Gothic is legendary in Europe but the English version was quite lack luster and even though the games were vastly superior to elder scrolls, they couldn’t penetrate.
Died to first boss, back to start… Welp, I think it’s not for me. Does look incredible but I guess movement is unlocked later and currently? Not feeling this restarting after I already fell few times on the way to the boss.
Queue in People saying skill issue or how my experience is wrong. But my 9 yo son also put the game down almost immediately because of it. I’m not good with these games. Thankfully it’s on gamepass and I can just try it whenever. Is the entire game this sort of no checkpoint boss rush?

I see your point, but missing out and the fear of it? I’m not sure. But maybe it’s because I’ve played for longer than some of these players have been alive for… There’s just so much that the whole “OMG I need this specific thing!!!” Doesn’t add up as there’s just so much good stuff in there and power creep has been insane prioritising new things or ever green items.
There is very little FOMO in warframe. The unsealing you speak of is a rotation due to the game having over a thousand of things to unlock so farming specific weapon part when you need 5 parts would be very difficult. It’s there to limit the pool. If you want something specific? That’s what trade is for.
Relic system is quite fair but you do need to somewhat understand the full system to see it.
The one thing that WF does fairly annoyingly are weapon slots. You have to buy them off the market with platinum so either you buy it at 75% discount or trade prime parts to get it. A single gold part will be worth more than the 2 weapon slot but it’s the one example that makes you “spend money”.
I’m playing since closed beta and have thousands of hours, got my wife and son into it. I must’ve spent maybe £300 in total (maybe more) to show my support, but I could’ve easily just done trading and bought all the cosmetics I wanted that way too.
WF makes you spend money on things you want to, not need to. No bullshit paid for battle pass or battle pass paid for skips etc.
We’re starved for new RTS games. But modding scene for old ones is thriving! To me, I didn’t enjoy the demo… It’s lacking “soul”… It might be because I just want more of the same? DWORF or whatever that over the top red alert 2 inspired game coming out has my hope… It has theover the top voice acting plus comically big units… THAT IS what I want.
4 went hard on all the map clutter IMO. The setting was alright and villain was just too close to feeling like they’re trying to capture Vaas lightning in a bottle type so unfortunately it bounced off me. Which is a shame, as it probably would have been the superior game in 3 didn’t happen and was fresh in my memory.
I admit, it is a “me” problem.

But my question was for 3rd party. MSI can suck dick, Asus has the whole warranty issue plus inflated prices, gigabyte while my go to, also has the case of downplaying their PSU setting itself on fire… Who is trustworthy in tech now?
And there really isn’t an alternative to 5090.I do have stupidly expensive setup with monitor that’s stupidly overkill, it’s my main hobby and I’m not afraid to throw stupid money at it. I dislike that I have to even state this, I always get one or two of “oh but you could be happy with 8900 XTX!”
