Buddy of mine just picked up No Man’s Sky on Switch but it lacks the multiplayer features of other systems.
He only has Switch and I only have PC so I’ve come here to ask:
Aside from Minecraft or Terraria what other games are available on both Switch and PC that we could play cooperatively together?
Also it’s totally fine if I need to host a dedicated server for it.
Edit: specifically need PC version playable on Linux and ideally something open world.

Dauntless and Minecraft Dungeons
Looks like Dauntless uses EAC which can be tricky to get working however I see Minecraft Dungeons looks to be working great; thank you
Fall Guys. And Pokémon Unite, but you’d have to emulate the Android on your PC and I haven’t been successful on Linux.
Have you tried Waydroid?
I haven’t, but it’s a bare bones emulator, isn’t it? You also need some mapping software for that game to work.
It gives a full android environment, just sideload whatever apk you need.
Has anyone tried Path of Titans ?

Awesome; thank you!
Palia has crossplay between PC and Switch. It’s not your average game but has a great community.
Oh nice, didn’t realize that one was on Switch; thank you
I play Fortnite cross platform with Switch and PC. The Lego mod is open world. I’m not sure it’s playable on Linux.
Unfortunately Fortnite is not currently playable on Linux
I think Rocket League is cross-platform.
Cool, thank you
