How does one “read” this source code stuff? Is it a bunch of code in text files? Is it just an uncompiled code from the game engine or something? Do you need the game engine editor software to read it? Or just any IDE program?

I positively adored Far Cry 1, it was such a fun and fresh game from an engine and game play stand point. Seeing so far, driving vehicles, sniping long distances, hell even the body rag doll was amazing for the game. The rag doll was much better then havoc ended up being.

I wonder if this code drop will yield some fun new stuff mod or TC wise for FC1.

I love it when something is involuntarily open-sourced.
