Soo intel cpu

I thought so too until I read the article. Turns out MS will provide their own cpu design and ‘‘just’’ use the intel infrastrcture to produce them.

Has Intel worked as a foundry for other companies before?

Edit: Skimmed the article; this is a new development for Intel but Microsoft won’t be their only customer. The hope is doing this will let them invest more in advancing fabrication technologies.
