Today’s game is some more Mario Kart Wii Retro Rewind. I went to a concert today so i didn’t have much down time in respects too gaming. I did manage to help a friend setup this on his computer though. We played a few rounds and had a blast. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on Bots, so it was just us, but it did make things a lot less hectic.
We did a 2 cup match of 500 CC. That was both a fun time and a huge mistake. Me and my friend took off and both rocketed into the wall. Poor Waluigi probably has brain damage.
For our second course we picked one that was a bit more complicated than excited bike. That was even worse. We kind of had to tap the accelerate to keep from flying off, and even then it was a challenge. I saw the picture above way too many times after driving off that cliff.
We followed it up to end the night with 200 CC, which is far more manageable than 500 cc. We tied on this one, as i ended up managing to get braking down so i don’t fly off the corner. It’s surprising that i tied because my friend is far more skilled than me. I’ve got maybe 40 hours in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and only play 64 for fun, he’s got almost 800 hours in 8 Deluxe last i checked. I think if we had everyone else here and were playing on official courses though i would have lost.
We ended on Coconut mall on 150 CC just to have a nice end to the night. I ended up winning this one, barely though as i crashed into one of the cars in the parking lot. Somehow i always struggle with those. I ended up pulling through though.
Tic Tac Toe is still a pretty good time though. Legit that was how i killed time growing up, and even now, the number of spontaneous tic tac toe games i’ve started in games while playing with friends is pretty high

I think so unfortunately. I don’t think i could handle higher but i’d love to give it a try just once
