And not get that benefit of their copy working on PC and Console if they get the game from Steam or GOG. Which to me is completely fine, and what I hope they do over needing multiple launchers if you buy outside of PSN.

You do know that something like 75-99% of games on steam don’t have any drm, right? You can play most games right from the exe.
None ive ever purchased have been drm/launcher free. Even binding of Isaac and terraria need that bloated garbage excuse for a launcher open to run.

This might have gotten me to buy a PS5 - a decade ago.
