Haven’t played any of them, so my guess is that part 1 covers your time in Midgard. Part 2 probably starts with you leaving Midgard. I’m waiting until all three are out, on PC, and in one sale bundle I can pick up for a reasonable price. Meanwhile, I’m playing the original FF VII while I wait.
I’m hoping once they’ve all been released they stitch them together - like, you start from scratch on game 1 and again on game 2, and you will in game 3 I’m assuming as well. Retooling everything so you progress through them all would be great.

The original disc 1 ended with Aeris getting penetrated by Sephiroth’s big long Masamune blade

They really should have clarified which game they talk about. I think it is Part 3, but not sure…

This is the remake. There’s no “remake remake”. Originally available on PlayStation, then PC, now Switch and Xbox.
