Today’s game is some more of The Last of Us Part II i’ve been neglecting to finish this the last few days so i picked it up this evening and finally finished day 1 of Abby’s story. Jesus that was so long. I spoiled myself and checked the length too be sure i wasn’t being dramatic, and it was like double the length of Abby’s Day 2 and Day 3. I did enjoy a lot of it though. The forest section was by far my favorite. Though having all the upgrades stripped away after getting them with Ellie was a challenge.
The cruise ship was fun to do. There were so many Clickers and i didn’t have enough ammo so i had to really exploit what i knew about them. I used a bottle to lure them all over, and then a crossbow to be sure. Then, i tossed a couple of pipe bombs. I killed all but 2 of them, it was a bit of a fight but i managed to do it with the Semi Automatic Rifle.
The Crossbow is also my new favorite weapon. Makes it so much easier to kill Clickers. Just pop an arrow in their head from a distance and then sneak around to the next one. It really helped bring the difficulty down after losing so much of the strength Ellie had.
I went ahead and stopped after the aquarium on day 2. I figured that was a good stopping point as it was getting late. Hopefully if i can find the time tomorrow i can pick this up and finish day 2 in one sitting.
Like someone else mentioned, Schedule I could work (and is really fun). GTA or any other clone, maybe? That old Drug Wars game for Texas Instruments calculators.
GTA is one of those games i keep meaning to pick up, and really want to play, but also keep forgetting to buy it. I’ve been eying the 4th one though. I almost considered Payday because i’m like 75% there’s a level that matches in that, but i checked the size and it’s way too big.
