Very excited for adventure mode. The colony builder was overwhelming to me, but I want to support the game, so I feel like a single-character adventure would be perfect
At least to me, adventure mode is even more complicated than fortress mode. Maybe the graphical overhaul can fix some of that, but it’s going to be a long haul.
Complicated is fine, it was the whole “things are happening on several different floors in your base and everything is happening in real time, so you have to constantly pause to handle everything”
Nice to get a general update on how Adventure Mode is coming. Ive never been able to get into Fortress Mode, so I think the steam version of adventure mode will be a good gateway for people to be able to play Dwarf Fortress without just getting into real complicated fortress setups out of the gate

Imagine if adventure mode was Caves of Qud… If ever two small devs combined projects that is the one I would want to see.
