The good news is that the US simply doesn’t have grid capacity to deploy this stuff at that scale. Meanwhile, in China new capacity is being built pretty much entirely with renewables.
Weird, Deepseek runs on a little mini PC.
To be fair, you need to spend a machine that’s a bit beefier than a mini PC to run full DeepSeek, but yeah it’s very much consumer grade hardware we’re talking about.
