Hey everyone! So, what’s next? Even before we wrapped up the SOTS redevelopment roadmap, a lot of folks were asking what our plans are for the future of Risk of Rain 2. That’s a fair question. Yeah, I was a planned day 1 buy for Sots, but got held up and didn’t buy it early. By the time I went to get it, the blood red reviews had already washed in.
Seekers of the Storm is finally in a good playable state. Last patch dropped last week or so. In my eyes at least the devs have corrected their blunder.

5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW
Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.
No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don’t share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don’t want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.
Here’s to hoping they learned their lesson from SotS, but I’m not holding my breath.

I did say it’s better in my eyes, but recent reviews are “very positive” too.

“Relaunched” as in doing an overhaul with their recent update. It still sit on “Mostly Negative” on All Time review.
Most of those are old reviews, the final patch which includes major reworks came out a few days ago. It’s in a good state now and worth getting.
