A lot from Undertale. Personal favourite is Spider Dance.
Other than this, The Trumpet 4 is catchy as heck.
Mine Windbag Mine is also incredibly catchy as heck, Darren Korb is super talented.
Cities Skylines. It’s pretty dang fun building from just a small suburb into a small town and then into a city, and then start another small town further out then connect both with train. It’s too bad i playing Epic Store version, no mod support, so base game only. Got it for free though so can’t complain much, just have to patiently waiting for steam sales and buy some of the dlc as well.
Before that its Dishonored franchise, up till the last game with a dang great finale to close the story. It’s too bad we don’t get to have this phenomenal game from Arkane anymore, as the original dev have long left the studio.
It’s hard to make a good and fun metroidvania, and to make one that could top the OG? With a character that basically travel using needle and thread? That’s even harder, and takes a lot of time to design and implement. I assume they complete the whole game early on(as in playable from start to finish) but found out that it just couldn’t be as good as Hollowknight, so they went back to the drawing board and redesign a lot of stuff.
Nexon making SC? Nice, the new SC will be free, but each unit have 10 level of upgrade and you only have basic unit available, the rest is unlockable as you earn your space buck. Fully upgraded unit have the same stats as the one from SC2. There will be 50 maps to play, but you only can access to 3 each week, and they put map in rotation. Each unit have 20 skins available. New race: the space elf with mushroom people.
Emm, no. If you build something from the ground up it’s called remake.(Demon Souls, the Resident Evil series) Remastered is taking the old game and put on a fresh paint of coat and give it some modern QOL so it’s much more accessible today.
Skyblivion is closer to remake than remaster.
Also i feels like you misunderstand why people like this game.
I have no idea what’s your complaint are though, and it’s not a remake, it’s a remaster that is significantly better than a lot of other remaster have to offer. They could’ve gave us widescreen support, some lighting change, some new horse armour and call it a day, but they somehow able to snap an UE5 rendering on top of gamebryo, some modern QOL, new character models, modern lipsync, while retaining the charm that spawned an entire genre of meme.
There’s a reason Witcher 1 isn’t getting a remastered but a remake. Gamer these day is so jaded and just can’t seems to satisfied with anything, that a witcher 1 remastered will get hated forever.
From what i looked the character movement and behaviour seems to be unchanged, but the combat is speed up so it looks so weird. The character model and the mouth movement is honestly doesn’t looks good, sheogorath looks so so weird. From the trailer and some gameplay it’s basically like adding those environment, lighting, combat, and then character model mod, very much mismatched. I guess that’s the cost of remastering to current standard while maintain the jank, as most would say, the janky-ness of oblivion is what give it the charm.
I think skyblivion gonna “feel” much better as it’s build on top of skyrim.
That makes sense, until you realise the market for it is significantly bigger than 30 years ago, and you can sell infinite copy of the thing you made. When we talk about physical item being cheaper after entering massive market we justify it being economy of scale. But when come to videogame people suddenly forgot that phase exists.
Totally doable me think, you just have to run a lot to conserve your magic use.
