y’all don’t care about the difference between God of War Ragnarok and Devil May Cry because it’s “all action” to you.
You could’ve clarify by saying “hack and slash”, which is what the og GOW and DMC are, “action game” is so broad it could even include ff7r, kh, and even battletoad
What I don’t understand is why you randomly decide to jump in online arguments if you clearly don’t care.
It’s open forum, i can join any conversation i like.

This is an important moment for any gamer who has purchased a Steam enabled game. That includes millions of gamers who have been impacted by the unfair practices that have resulted in them being overcharged.
No other platform are giving me 90% discount and regional pricing, and Epic Game Store price isn’t any cheaper despite collecting less charge. She might come with a right mindset but suing a wrong cause, and will probably not gonna win.

So there’s now two tabloid i know of called “Mothership”. If i had a nickel someone named their tabloid “Mothership”, i’d had two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.
2026
“sorry guys we’re having so much fun developing this one and the scope is getting way too big we’re gonna make it a standalone and release it in 2029”
Alternatively:
“i heard you guys like Bilewater so this one will be like Bilewater but with more salt, and the sorrow part is when you keep dying you’re crying”
They did use AB testing, and some of their video thumbnail and title did have that sort of combination when the AB test is in effect. The best one imo is still the fresh upload, which then youtube will cycle all the thumbnail and then end up with the one that got the most click. If you pay attention to it when they first upload then a day later then a few days then a week, it will usually cycle from good to really bad then finally end in bad as their forever thumbnail and title.
If you want to know if this YouTube channel is of any value whatsoever, click on the channel, then click on videos, and take a look at every video thumbnail and title, and you’ll have your answer.
This actually kicks out Veritasium for having no value, and i have a long standing issue with Derek. I like Veritasium, it’s a valuable channel that is entertaining and educational, but Derek is a sellout for a)knowing how bad clickbait is, talk about it in one of his older video, but continue to engage with it, which got even worst recent year; b) sold Veritasium to private equity, which explains why the shitbait is so so bad recently.

Saturnalia also looks pretty good tbh. Maybe this is what they mean by having external party joining the porject instead of having people inhouse doing the work.
As Pietro puts it, Santa Ragione operates “more like a film production studio, where people kind of come together for a project rather than being there all the time”, often from fields outside video games. Saturnalia’s art director, Marta Gabas, for instance, is a film and theatre set designer who had never made a game before.
The visual is significantly different between game, and this new one in particular feels like they run out of money and have to use bought asset to stitch together a game with no visual coherent. Gamedev is a very risky business and they seems to be on the way out anyway.

You might not immediately recognise the name Santa Ragione, but the independent Italian studio has been creating boundary pushing, award-winning games for over a decade and a half now.
Award winning, best indie game studio yet the name is unrecognisable…? It’s pretty fishy just from the beginning of the article. I checked their game, some are not well received, and their latest game have only 92 reviews on Steam. Not good, seems like the studio is already on their way out and he believe Horses gonna save the studio.
But if you look at the game
It’s an asset flip niche horror game, it’s not gonna save the studio. So what left is the dev trying to spin a sob story to hopefully rile up the anti-steam crowd to get some pity sales.

Based on my currently highest time spend in the game, in no particular order: Terraria, Dark Souls 3, Factorio + expansion, Stardew Valley.
The last one kinda depend on some caveat: Fallout 4(assuming mods also survived), Project Zomboid(if the dev will still working on it), or dying light(assuming some mods also survived). Else Prey 2017.
Edit: honestly i would put Monster Hunter 4U up there, but not sure if i can still take the early game grind, World kinda ruined a bit of 4U but it still a significantly better game.

It is. “From failed product to global success” will also drum up a positive vibe about this particular hardware. What i meant by it is it doesn’t really matter if the previous iteration is a failure, what people really care and what’s important is the current iteration and what Valve learn from their past mistake, and the marketing team of Valve know exactly that. It’s marketing after all, turning negative vibe to positive one is part of the marketing strategy.
The issue with that is, people have no idea what these “choice” even mean. SteamOS is SteamOS, Windows 11 is Windows 11, MacOS is MacOS, but Linux is a big list. If pushing adoption is the key purpose, the manufacturer need to pick one that they believe is reliable and in active development. Just one. All these editions will very likely cause choice paralysis, which lead to people deem it as “too complicated”.
Also Valve will not likely go that path again.

Did you already install Linux Mint on a drive and your computer is now refusing to boot from it?
This. I already tried setting the bios to boot from that particular drive and it gave me this message. Might have to try let the installer decide the partition like another comment suggested to rule it out, and try turning off secure boot if that fail.

Hmm, fair, can’t justify wasting time on people who want people to read their mind.
